Mannnn this video helps me put Telemachus’s role in that song in SUCH a different light! It was hard for me to notice his motifs in the song, so I had the image that he was being easily overwhelmed or even grabbed by the suitors when he was saying “get off me, get off me!” Now I understand he was actually fighting to his last breath using everything he learned from Athena. Love these breakdowns, keep ‘‘em coming, and man oh man PLZ PLZ PLZZZZ make this a musical ❤ (I will also accept a “hi-fi” rush style action rhythm odyssey game which I didn’t even know I wanted, but now kind of do 😅)

What I love about the Quick Thought is that not only it shows that Athena is fighting with Telemachus, but it also shows that he is also almost becoming as good as his dad. Good enough to fight many suitors on his own until Ody comes to his aid (Sidenote: you got to appreciate that Telemachus’s first impression of his dad is him murdering to protect his son and wife)

I wish we saw a moment where Telemachus and Odysseus come into a little conflict over the latter’s ruthlessness which the former never had the character arc for. Telemachus may be a warrior of the mind, but I doubt he really has what it takes to deliberately kill. He’s no monster.

But in all seriousness i freaking live the details i noticed but couldn't write process being explained and getting to understand some of the decisions made! I loved every detail of your retelling and have truly been inspired to get back into writing primarily thanks to you. I am truly grateful and i love that you still have so much passion for the project, it really helps i think a lot of us feel less alone in being proud and fixated on our ideas.
