I'm a welkin-only player, and the last character I pulled for is Mualani. I have saved over 30k primogens for this patch, and I plan to get both Mavuika and Citlali, along with both their weapons. These c2 buffs are so evil, cuz its just beyond what any f2p would reasonably spend. Like, a c6 is so far away that even c6’s like furinas and arlacchinos are fine, and c1 can be somewhat okay with nuvi and also arlie, but c2 can mean up to 560 pulls(6 characters) to get them, that is very screwed up, and it sucks more when c1 is pretty useless to make you really dread risking it. And genshin doesn’t even have cheap prices for their pull systems, so even if you are willing to cross that bridge, it might not be enough

If you're talking about citlali, I agree. But her C1 is actually kinda good. It gives the active character a few charges. Each charge is consumed by an attack to deal bonus damage.

Kinda disappointed that citlali shred resistance is only on C2, but this doesn't change my decision, going with her instead of mavuika. If you want to enable easymode then you need Bennet, Furina or Xilonen. You can literally make a main dps Dori with level 20 weapon and level 0 artifacts and still beat the game easily

Mavuika: Best dps character in the game (damage wise). Even post nerf she outdamages Neuv, Mualani, and Arlecchino by like 10%. Citlali: Best melt and freeze support for pyro and hydro dps characters. At c2 she becomes a better buffer in those teams than even xilonen and Kazuha. Lan Yan: good shielder. Her shield lasts 12.5 seconds. Skill cd is 16 seconds, which is a bit awkward. But she consolidates shielding, VV shredding, and can hold ttds. So a more defensive variant of sucrose.

I wonder if they’ll end up releasing another strong pyro DPS during the 6.x patch cycle. Probably not considering the gap between the release of the likes of Arlecchino and Hutao. But then again, Arlecchino was released less than a year ago, and here we are getting Mavuika already. It’s really hard to tell if they will, but this is one of the reasons why I’m reluctant to pull Mavuika. Yeah she’s the strongest now based on the numbers, but for how long? I just wish they made her the way they made Furina where Furina enabled new teams in the meta by making Marechausse artifact set usable to all DPS (and also elevated the usability of some healers). I was hoping the pyro archon would enable nightsoul for all DPS and characters and allow us to use the Natlan mechanics and the Natlan artifacts but I guess that’s all wishful thinking. Pulling for archons used to feel like an event, a groundbreaking thing that shakes up the meta (personally that’s how I felt about most the other archons), but now Mavuika doesn’t feel as impactful because she’s just another DPS that may be overshadowed by another strong DPS that may come out in a year or two.

Something to note about lanyan You made her sound weaker than she actually is. At c2, she is actually stronger shielder than zhongli if she absorbs the one of the four element. Even at c0, she's the best shielder after zhongli. Her shield duration is 12.5 second, which is enough for most dps. She has access to VV which can give you good amount of debuff, and also ttds to buff your dps. Since Shield's hp is based on your characters stat at the time of creation, she can snapshot Bennett's burst too which is huge because her shield scales off atk. Her burst gives you CC too. She's probably your new best shielder for arlecchino. Also, she'll be very good in electro teams

About Lanyan, specially at c6 she's gonna be a must have. If you think about it for a second, she does everything sucrose does, besides em transfering, but gives a shield instead. The fact that this shiled is adapatble makes it extremely good against all elements except geo and dendro. 250% efficiency of say 1000 is better than 100% efficiency on 1800 for example. All new players should default pick her if there's no one they really wanna pick. I hope i get at least c5 on her in the summon session.

The adaptible shueld and all the character kit is still relevant at c0, you can transfer all sucrose's gear to her and have a better sucrose that can shield 5 elements with 250% efficiency. That's a solid solid pick regardless of cons. I hope your luck gets better for the 4*s!

Just for people to understand that C0-C1 Arle is stronger than C0-C1 Mavuika: Theory crafters had to promote melt mavuika during during v2 and harder now because after calcs came out they said she was the best dps... then after her melt was deemed impractical, because it required you to either imput really really fast which wasnt practical for realistic situations or slow down her already long rotation time. Then some people did calcs for melt arlecchino, it was said to be at least three percent better then the furina v2 varrent. So if the melt was impractical and the furina was weaker, then their claim that mavuka was the best dps was gonna have egg all over it. So they promoted it harder to save credability. Now its not even a debate on whos better. The v3 mavukas melt is close or barely stronger, less than 1% than the v2 furina varrent meaning melt arlecchino "might" be the new meta. With out needing so many 5 stars and team restriction and icd issues as the team calculated was arl citlai rosaria and bennet. With arl being 1.03×stronger in the explanation than the furina version of version 2. (Aerongaming) The calculation showed 3147 for melt Alrecchino, and 3052 for vape Mavuika. Which is x1.03 better or 1- (3052/3147), that is a 3% difference. 107 melt mavuika v3(new) and 106 vape v2 mavuika(old) simply multiplying the ratio 106x1.03=~109 Arlecchino would have a less then a 2% advantage. Thats assuming mavuika melt actually worked which realistically doesnt. Jstern calc are just that calcs they only assume possible damage not realistic. People in mavuika reddit have mix feelings about him atm.

It's ok, you can use her in overload for now with em pyro traveller + ororon + chev If you don't have ororon, you can try mavuika, pyro traveller, kachina, rosaria/diona This is all assuming your want to get ult charged as high as possible, if Ur ok with lower charged ult, you can try slotting in supports like furina and Bennett instead to compensate for less ult stack

The combat style of this Mavuika is the most ridiculous that I've seen in genshin, not only that but she's niche and restricted therefore i'll just pull for father instead, and i'll see my chances with either Arlechino's weapon or citlali, mavuika ? I’ve blown like 239 pulls on Natlan characters so far and have gotten 2 (Mualani at C0R0, Kinich at C2R1). No lost 5050s yet (hopefully I don’t lose Mavuika or Arle either). I’ve got about 221 (130 pity built across weapon and character banners, 91 pulls saved) and I plan to go for Mavuika C0 and Arlecchino C1R1 (if possible). I might get Citlali in place of Arlecchino’s R1 though.

Mavuika: no ER need but Natlan character mandatory, stuck in 2 premium teams to be really op, so no versatility, contrary to what everyone says. Powercreep ? Compared to an already over-invested Arle, difference is not game-changing +10-15% DPS. I'm not a speedrunner, I'm not interested in saving a few seconds. Motorcycle and gameplay, not for me. Mavuika > Meh Citlali C2R1: mix of Kazuha/Nahida/Furina. Such an added value in a box. #allprimosforcitlali

You're thinking too much about it, that's why it's hard. I'm f2p and I've up to 4 strong teams with strong DPS characters (Raiden C3 R1, Alhaitham, Arlecchino, yelan (sub DPS), etc). In 5.0, I have just 75 pulls after pulling on Raidens banner. And now, I've 230+ pulls for the next patch. Just select your best characters that you like and save up.

Well i am a new player but i have seen my sister play genshin alot so i know almost everything cause at this point shes maxed out and have noting to do in game and she talks alot about game so i almost everything. Ill not be wasting my primos on any special banner. Ill use them on standard banner and choose from those character whos most appealing to me and then ill make that characters team. Atleast i wont have to wait for a whole year or 2 for special banner hero to come so i can have my first constellation after pulling from that special character banner. I can have have more constellation in 1 year from standard banner compared to special. So all these new mechanic , design and powerful characters coming in special banner are worthless for me and i dont even have that temptation of hype either that ( Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh this new character is dope ). What?? This is probably the most cringe video in this channel. Starting from that on C0 Mavuika damage per WHOLE team rotation is 1.7 mil at max)) Her ult damage is less than 1 mil right now. Without Xilonen or Citlali Mavuika is way weaker than Arle, Neuvi< Mualani and so on. Basically before on C0-C1 Mavuika is doing less damage per rotation than Arlecchino. Be current beta tests after V3-V4 Arle has up to 3-5% more dmg when both of them in their best teams. This channel is glazing Mavuika way too hard, she is not powercreeeping anyone lol

According to all this info mavuika only good for whale and her team is limited at c0 which we f2p hate so conclusion if u have team support like xilonen or ororon or citlali kachina good too but still not enough so ur going to be fine but without them its hard to maximize her full potential because of her skill mechanism. if you have any natlan suport characters she is better otherwyse no. In terms of flexiblility mavuika outshines arlechino since she can fit any arlechino team and can even be used as an of field pyro.

Probably pull both because most teams want a Furina, and Citlali can act as a second one/replacement in freeze/melt/chasca teams Citlali is a great pull and a great support for muivaka Also weapon banner would be good too because both weapons are very valuable !!!If you already have arlechino I would just get Citlali and pull muivaka on a re run!!!

Arlecchino on C0-C1 is stronger tha Mavuika on C0-C1 when both of them are in their best teams by current beta-tests after V3-V4)) Some info: Theory crafters had to promote melt mavuika during during v2 and harder now because after calcs came out they said she was the best dps... then after her melt was deemed impractical, because it required you to either imput really really fast which wasnt practical for realistic situations or slow down her already long rotation time. Then some people did calcs for melt arlecchino, it was said to be at least three percent better then the furina v2 varrent. So if the melt was impractical and the furina was weaker, then their claim that mavuka was the best dps was gonna have egg all over it. So they promoted it harder to save credability. Now its not even a debate on whos better. The v3 mavukas melt is close or barely stronger, less than 1% than the v2 furina varrent meaning melt arlecchino "might" be the new meta. With out needing so many 5 stars and team restriction and icd issues as the team calculated was arl citlai rosaria and bennet. With arl being 1.03×stronger in the explanation than the furina version of version 2. (Aerongaming) The calculation showed 3147 for melt Alrecchino, and 3052 for vape Mavuika. Which is x1.03 better or 1- (3052/3147), that is a 3% difference. 107 melt mavuika v3(new) and 106 vape v2 mavuika(old) simply multiplying the ratio 106x1.03=~109 Arlecchino would have a less then a 2% advantage. Thats assuming mavuika melt actually worked which realistically doesnt. Jstern calc are just that calcs they only assume possible damage not realistic.
