I have always been blown away at the coverage that BYU has for its own game day and their Sports Nation productions.

I've watched some of those BYU broadcasts before, and you're right Drake, it's professional all the way. I think in large part that is due to all the experience gained in producing so many other shows on BYUTV, which is carried by all the major cable companies. It's an impressive media package and fun to watch. I'm confident that BYU sees itself as representing the entire church that sponsors them and makes a point to do it right.

i'm an old guy and I have followed BYU football since Lavell Edwards' second season. They are extremely excited about being in the big 12. They've been waiting for a long time to make it into the real serious ranks of college football.

BYU is known for a great film production program and their own TV channel. They aren't rookies at this stuff.

I'm hoping that we get Washington State to invite you to Pullman this year when Colorado comes to town. It's a Town of only 32,000 people, but more like 5,000 without the students. I think you'd fall in love with Pullman and feel right at home !!

My predictions was 35-17, close to yours, and we came really close if not for late TD after game was out of reach. Just glad they won. Glad ypu enjoyed the trip!

Sounds like we're on our way to converting you to be a Cougar Fan! I'm new to your podcast, I don't listen to everything, but I'm always watching the stuff about BYU. Keep up the good work.

Byu would even broadcast conference games and tournaments that didn't include byu when it was in the wcc. Byu would do it for the big 12 but byu doesn't want to hijack the big 12 a la the Longhorn network.

How was the tailgating? Non existent wasn't it?
@howardsmith9342 Жыл бұрын
There are a large number of food trucks lining "Cougar Canyon", which is what they call the road running past the stadium on game day. As far as traditional tailgating goes, there is some, but it has never been a big part of game day, probably due to the lack of beer and parking.

You really need to stop calling this 'locked on Big12". Call it "a homer's love affair with all things BYU" so at least everyone knows what this channel is really about.
