Ominous actually perfected a special spell that allows him to see through his wand you can see him utilizing it to navigate the castle in various instances browsing the game. I have actually followed him all the way from the great hall to the library one time watching him navigate his way with the wand tip sparking red almost like a Morse telegraph.

It happens right after finishing Charms class when you're on your way to DADA class. In order for this to trigger, you should complete the charms class first and then go to DADA. It will not trigger if you do DADA first and then charms. :)
