I joined your VIP program, waiting on my interview while doing the homework and studying. I watched wall street warriors, finished the homework, working on lessons with your traders checklist, watching webinars, watching your KZbin videos, and reading Jamils book, I bought it last Saturday. I am right now, organizing my notes into categories such as: Psycology, watchlists, SSS and indicators, brokers fees and regulations, and tools and terms ect, so that they are easy to look back on and re read. Im reading and learning before I watch webinars because I want to know what's going on within those webinars. Building my TRADING FOUNDATION! I'M INIT!

I just turned 60. My plan is to rigorously follow these rules so at 65 I'm in control of my future. I would give an arm or a leg to be in my 20s, 30s or 40s and spend that 5 years to be successful. Think about this guy's. In economies that are rigged... who better to look after your future then yourself?! Run out and get your four-year degree, accumulate massive debt and try to put away 10 or 20% in a savings vehicle... or minimize your cost of Education and dedicate your four years to something that does not fluctuate with the job market or employment rate! And this material does not require a degree to understand! This is as close to a Level Playing Field as you can get. Thanks Tim(s)!

Thank you Timothy Sykes and Tim Bohen. I do enjoy the repetitiveness as I like to reinforce my own knowledge and to really drill some of the lessons into myself, as well as recognize the things that stick because those are the things that last. I do have a question, what should I rate specific catalysts? Like, earnings winners are great, but sometimes the earnings is not what the market expects. I see things like publicly announced conferences to talk about their 10-k results, even news that say they're going to do just that. I know it's just one catalyst, but it is an important one and I would like to better my understanding with it so I can start to be more proactive instead of reactive (though always maintaining discipline).

Hello I’m a young teenager and I want to start to be a stock trader. I have $200. Is that enough to get me started? And what do you think i should start with? Thank you
@TimothySykesTrader5 жыл бұрын
Most brokers require $2,000 to start an account. I recommend you start with whatever you're comfortable losing. Learn all you can while you save up! 👍
@MikeH444 жыл бұрын
Join robinhood or webull. Are they the best platform?...no but it has its pros. Its not overly complicated. They will give you warnings or helpful information if you're about to do something stupid. $200 is more than enough. On Robinhood I invested 100 plus the free share you get from signing up. I had $113 to basically lose. You are going to blow through half of that easily with no or lil profit just until you get the hang of it. After I opened it, I "fake" traded with basically monopoly money for 3 months and spent HOURS researching info. After that and I had 8 out of my 10 stocks in the green for the month sorta consistently so decided to make my first move. After a month I was anywhere from my original $113 to at one time $23 then back up to $65. Few small trades and I was setting at around $200. Went from 2 to 400 then 800 back down to 285. I'm now setting at 1,259....up 140 for the week BUT still down 800 for 3 months. Thanks covid. My point in this is that's plenty to get started to lose! Fomo gets me. "The fear of missing out". Many times I should have took my 20 percent and ran happy. Only to take a loss thinking it was going to go up more. Forget all my basic principles when I watched my portfolio go up. Trade small. $1 to 10 stocks. Get your 20 percent return and bounce!!!!!!! Do it over again. Do it again and then that exactly again and by then you'll notice patterns. How the media effects the stocks. How the platform operates and how greedy you can be. You got this! I'm an idiot and I may not be the best but in 4 months I'm setting at 1200, down 800 and only started with $113. That doesn't include when times got tough and I took $40,50,60 out of robinhood to get by. Start small, find a stock down for the day, 2 day get 20, $5 stocks invest 100 of your 200 and when u hit 20% return. Get out! Your portfolio is now 120.....do it again tomorrow. By two, three weeks you'll be around 400.
