just a quick note that the pumpkins you get from a patch are often intended for carving, so they are thinner walled and do not have the same texture or flavor as pie pumpkins (also called sugar pumpkins), which are smaller, denser (more pumpkin flesh inside) and sweeter. You can eat either one, but one is intended for cooking and has been cultivated to be good for it. In the future if you know you want to cook with it later, get yourself a pie pumpkin :)

Roasting pumpkin seeds tonight! 🎃 One thing ive started doing is using beeswax tealights in my jack o lanterns, because I'm not sure about soy or parrafin wax but beeswax is compostable. That way if some wax gets on the inside of the pumpkin it's no big deal.

Happy Halloween!!!!! 🎃 We used one of our pumpkins to make pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin oatmeal peanut butter dog cookies, and roasted pumpkin seeds.
