A lot of you wonderful people mention interviews by pilots, radar operators and so on and though it would make sense for me to talk about their part of the story too, there is a reason I chose not to: Joe Rogan show, New York Times magazine and other media sources that featured those pilots paid them exuberant amounts of money for telling a story. They were not asking for facts or for most rational explanation. They were asking for a story, a fun one, one that brings audience. If I were one of the pilots and was told "we will pay you $20000 for a few hours of your time if you can come and tell us about what you saw" I would instantly realize I just hit a gold mine and would make it as interesting as possible so that the other media would invite me later. Would I really go and just tell them "well I saw an object, it was distant, could have been a plane, but probably an old one, I've never seen before" or would I paint a colourful encounter making national news in the process? I think the answer here is pretty obvious. In the age of media, it's very important to remember that if a person is being paid for telling a story, you have to put extra scrutiny on everything you hear. Nothing they mentioned was collaborated by the camera footage and in one anecdotal case the camera movement (and parallax) was interpreted as faster than speed sound. So in conclusion? In this particular example I don't think any of the "witness" evidence is admissible in court due to financial bias.

The eye witness testimony comes from a report, not the New York Times - they just followed up. Also, can you provide a source for them being paid 20,000 each? That's just not true. Dave Falch actually completely disagrees with Mick and he works and services this stuff. He's an expert, Mick is not. It's evident there's bias at play here, but would love to hear your Mick-free, actual evidence based take though! Update: Cmdr David Fravor did an interview with Lex Friedman and specifically said what he'd earned. As suspected, you were very wrong, and Dave (and the others) weren't paid. Hope you take the time to revise your ideas and statement.

I can assure you no media is going to pay $20,000 for telling UFO stories. UFO stories are not popular that media is going to pay a pilot. Most of the UFO stories are not from a Pilot. I am a Pilot, my Dad was a Pilot, my Grandpa was a Pilot too but I have never this kind of bizarre story! That is 100% bogus. Especially, Airforce Pilots make way more than that. I am sure, they all would be worried about the ethic violations and losing the job and License to fly. Not even a commercial or an amateur pilot. No way! I think it also important to have no want to disbelieve. We are very quick to dismiss anything that can be created or recreated concerning this subject, almost strangely so, as we do not apply the same thinking to other topics. We are clever at creating so we are also clever at recreating. I suppose my point is this, if we dismiss something extraordinary simply because we could create the thing using the ordinary, well, I guess those people that believe that the moon landings were faked have merit. There is a lot of alien BS out there. What we do know is it's not the American's, and therefore unlikely the Rusians or Chinese. The pilots and radar operator's that see them describe maneuverability many centuries ahead of current tech. I think it's becoming clear, just as the last person commented on here.... There is no conspiracy! The government's have no idea what these things are. I think no one does. All we do "know" is that apes with large frontal lobes that fly around in planes didn't make them. The idea that this could be kept a secret is the real crazy idea. All the govs, all the private contractors, all the scientists, no way! When the US and British, and German, and Japanese all realised they couldn't catch up with them, like in the Washington event in the 50's they then said case closed, and told service people and pilots never to talk about it. Hence the stigma. But it's becoming too hard to ignore now. Remeber this isn't just an American phenomenon. The British, Japanese, Russians, French etc. All have similar sightings for the same amount of decades.

Super Cool I agree. But to be fair, he’s only dealing with the videos. The most intriguing aspect of Fravor’s experience, was the appearance of the object at his cap point (60 miles away) only a few seconds after leaving the F18s for dust. But it rarely gets discussed because of these damned videos. In my opinion, the videos don’t show anything spectacular, they just deflect people’s attention from the real meaty information. 🤷‍♂️

Why yes, I do think it's quite possible for a pilot to not recognize another plane, especially if it's one he's not famlilar with, at an unusual angle, in conditions he doesn't have much experience in. Learning how to fly a plane does automatically give you the ability to instantly recognize every airborne object out there, every time, without fail. Sometimes the vagaries of reality and the limits of our own perception and cognition throw us for a loop. Optical illusions and other rare, but natural, phenomena exist. Even familiar things in unfamiliar circumstances can be interpreted wrong, especially if you've been previously primed to interpret them in that way (i.e. there have already been previous reports of "UFO sightings", making it more likely that you will interpret anything unusual you see as one yourself.) People seem to think that experts in a field can't be fooled. In reality they're just as fallible as everyone else. Maybe even more so, because they tend to think themselves that they can't be fooled either, and become overconfident in their interpretations.

Multiple eyewitness accounts are not necessarily more credible than individual ones, particularly when the group is relatively homogeneous and allowed to interact during and after the event witnessed. Mass hysteria, groupthink, and other social interaction influences on cognition are well documented phenomena. All it takes sometimes is for one "lead" person to prime the perceptions of the rest, and group conformity dynamics start kicking in to "amazingly" make everyone else see the same thing. The human brain is an impressive organ, capable of some astounding feats of cognition. But that complexity also makes it an amazingly fragile one in some respects. It is embarrassingly easy to trick and alter both perception and memory in a multitude of situations. There are good reasons why eyewitness testimony is considered the least reliable form of evidence. As for FLIR, Anton has just shown us how easy it is for such footage to be misinterpreted by non-experts.

i was wondering why this statement wasn't brought up ..... 90 percent of info on the subject is bs, frankly. The statement above is not bs. There's about 10% percent of the information on this subject that rises above the rest. Both the comment above, and the manner in which these vehicles in the video fly, is supported by Bob Lazar's account of efforts to reverse engineer the craft...other information that seems truthful is Ron Garner's testimony and the Guy Hotel Memo. Findings like these are rare but they become consistent with each other. Other information like David Adair's testimony and Dan Burisch's testimony in my opinion cloud our vision and provide a disservice in our coming to terms with the truth. This channel is excellent, but this is not the best presentation of these videos.

There is a lot of indications we are heading for some form of disclosure, real or false. Why is China financing an international organization to discuss ufos at the UN?

The other 3 aren't doing interviews for the public, only behind doors interviews with high ranking officials. Being skeptic is one thing, being dismissive and ruling out the possibility that these objects might be of extraterrestrial origin completely is a different thing altogether. Confirmation bias can go both ways. We have to be open-minded and consider that if experienced pilots and the Department of Defense don't know what those objects are, there is a chance, however small, that the explanation might be something extraordinary.

I'm a Navy vet -- WEPS/G3/force protection response team. On a deployment we had an interaction with a "drone" as described to us that, with impunity was suddenly appearing above our carrier. The Navy by nature needs sensor tech that protects strike groups on a hemispheric scale. One strike group has eyes on screens that cover at least half a hemisphere. That UAP kept popping into our reality right above CVN69 and was changing elevations counter-intuitively. The brief about it seemed nonsensical. I'll forever remember this.

@Cosmopolitan Bunkins the comment is a reference to Joe's interview with one of the Navy pilots involved with one of these clips. He goes into great length about not just these shots, but other things that were happening that week of that deployment. I'm perfectly ok with this kind of debunking conclusions as most things tend to have some rational explanation. But, you really should go watch that podcast of Joe's interview man. It adds testimony of the pilot and he talks about a lot of things not in these videos. Things like radar operators seeing strange things on their scopes, his own story about objects hovering above the water moving in rapid patterns back and forth at unnatural speeds, and others I don't even remember right now. True, eyewitness testimony is perhaps the most flawed evidence in sightings. But these are Naval airmen and crewmen and it isn't one or two, it's like the entire ship and its squadron involved.

Yes, I remember when the guy was on CNN. This was a year and a half ago February. The pilots saw these with there own eyes and gave descriptions of their movements as being impossible. There is a lot more videos besides these. Around 20 years ago I remember seeing on the news the many videos from Mexico City that were taken from many places and people around the city at the same time on the news that night. Chicago O'Hare was also a very compelling multiple simultaneous sightings that seems very difficult to be a hoax or misperception. Phoenix was likely a misperception and there have been many hoaxes as both are human nature. I think denying the unusual is much more common than inventing supernatural stories. It seems when we are among friends most say they believe in UFOs but in less familiar company many seem to be less open. It seems to me that the people who act like it's rediculous to believe in alien, and that's what we are talking about here, life tend to be extremely practical in all aspects of life to a degree that isn't rational. 🤓 Many of us can be easily convinced what is obviously true is a hoax if it threatens our belief system especially if it is founded in materialism. Many believe more in supernatural abilities to perform a hoax over what we can see with our own eyes.

That video is not the whole story though. 1) The pilots first spotted the ufo in one spot near the ocean jumping back and forth, 2) the radar on the main ship spotted it also and was tracking the speed and location. 3) there were many of them seen on radar on the ship that week. Here in Brazil we had the "Night of the UFOs" in 1986 where two control towers thousands of miles away picked at least 21 bright spots on their radar without identification, witnesses from the ground told they saw very bright changing lights, sometimes white, or green or red, our airforce dispatched five fighter jets to identify in total (two F-5Es and three Mirage III), some pilots reported seeing the same thing while others couldn't get a visual, being outrunned or outmaneuvered, one pilot said that no human could withstand turning like they turned, it was also told that when they got faster, the lights were faster, and when they got slower, the lights flew slower, the airforce reported that the lights even flew in formations and responded to the pilots, suddenly they just accelerated in a second and disappeared. An official said that Radars on the ground reported velocities of the UFOs between 4-6x the fastest plane on the planet could achieve, the SR-71 Blackbird, which only rockets can achieve. Some of the more "feet on the ground" theories say that US was testing their stealth jets and electronic warfare on us, or that what we saw were meteors, but both of them can't explain why bright lights were flying in formations and responding to what our pilots were doing. The official record was "inconclusive", stating "As conclusion of the observed given facts, this Command if of the opinion that the phenomenons were solid, and reflect in a certain way intelligence, for the capacity to accompany and keep distance from observers, as also fly in formation, not forcibly tripulated". Also NASA "borrowed" some negatives from the local media and to this day they didn't return, reportedly "lost" the photos, so the only visual record is what the media already had published, but our airforce has all the audios and air control and radar data to this day. Today all the documents are public, to whoever searches.

Regarding that first video, according to the pilots there were many objects in the air (a fleet of them), and one of them was larger than the others. The objects were also actively avoiding the fighter jets. It doesn't make sense that fighter jets would be both unable to catch up with them, as well as being unable to identify what it is. One can also question why the video is so short. Why won't they show the rest of it? How did the objects leave the area? Regardless, there have been many weird sightings of objects appearing metal-like and oval in shape that just disappear in the blink of an eye. There's also the time objects were seen dropping down from space, hovering in place at an extremely high altitude until fighter jets approached them, after which they dove down to just above the surface of the ocean in just one second, making a complete stop and hovering there instead. We don't have the technology to do things like that, and no natural object hovers in place in the sky either, so there's certainly something out there. There's a lot to find if you're willing to look for it.

The Nimitz doco is what people really need to watch if they want to know about what really happened with the tictac. You can hear the pilots discussing the craft while engaged with the craft. And first person witnesses discuss how after it happened men in suits turned up in a heli on the deck of the ship and confiscated all the navy's records of the event.

Anton, While I appreciate your usual expertise, I would caution against claiming that the object tracked by bvr in 2004 is a helium weather balloon. You simply cannot ignore the banter made between the pilots as to the speed of the objects going against the wind, the reported change of directions and the mirroring of the aircrafts positioning's or the glee the pilots exhibited when one of the objects was finally radar locked. Most importantly, there were a fleet of these objects, flying in formation, hardly something you would want in weather balloons and the simple fact that the Government saw fit to classify these videos for decades.

In addition to the heavily-debated footage, remember that in the 2004 Nimitz case, 4 pilots saw the 45 foot long tictac vertically climb from a stop to within a mile of one jet, then instantly accelerate to cover 50 miles of clear visibility in about a second or two (Mach 118-236 approx). And in the Theodore-Roosevelt 2015 case, in one incident, 4 pilots saw a cube inside a translucent ball rapidly maneuver between 2 jets within 200 feet nearly causing a mid-air crash, plus dozens of these pilots were seeing them every time they flew for months. Both of these are matters of public record and official navy incident reports backed up by the most advanced planar radar on the planet.

In Melbourne Australia, around 55 years ago about 200 people watched a shiny silver coloured disc of saucer shape and about 20 meters in diameter move silently across our school ground at about 500 ft altitude, turn around and come back and land in our football ground beside the school, then take off again with no sound, then gain altitude to about 1000 ft and vanish to the south at an enormous speed then return and vanish to the east with the same unbelievable speed. this went on for many minutes, two more appeared, the first one that landed left scorch marks on the football ground. This was all carefully investigated by our Government and military. Everyone who was there and saw these things including the school principle and teachers were interviewed for many hours. You can verify all of this by looking it up on the web. This all happened in the middle of the school day. everyone who was there has never forgotten. These were machines that were made of metal, completely silent and could move at Hypersonic speed. Not man made, not a balloon! I am well educated and became a pilot, now retired.

We know that many of the shown effects can be recreated by using those camera systems in a certain way. We also know that some of the vids just were cut off shortly before those objects would have been clearly identified - why were those vids released like that? I've also read an opinion piece by a technician arguing that some of those sightings look pretty much like artifacts that can show up on badly calibrated systems on those planes. Is it odd? Yeah. @Grim FPV There is an abundance of misleading documentaries that fall apart once you start critically investigating them and often it becames obvious that the shown claims are not only wrong but made up on purpose. So those people are often not even naive idealists but obvious frauds. There is no clear cut, absolute proof. We should have mountains of indesputable evidence by now, way beyond witness accounts. Where are the contacts witnessed by thousands of people and all filming it? Breaking news, ufo sighted over new york. Nothing like that. Its always some murky hidden encounter someone claims he has def seen and maybe some blurry videos. Thats not conclusive evidence.

This is an interesting video anton! The difficult thing about confirmation bias is that it applies to both sides. Every "psychological" explanation to the "i want to believe camp" can also be said to the "i dont want to believe camp" Humans try to protect the existing world view and fit all input into that format. There has to be some very intense experience to change the fundamental world view. The "are we alone in the universe?" question is very fundamental, so the tendency of people to explain stuff (away) in their existing format is very pronounced. I remember a story from the first arrival of western settlers in america: Allegedly, an american native who was renowned for his good eyes, looked out on the sea and saw something strange in the air above the water. What he saw didnt make sense to him, because there is no possible object or thing in his mind or language that is both, so big and on the water. So he couldnt SEE it, he was just irritated by the movement of water and wind. So he came back the next day and looked again, bringing more people. they all couldnt make sense of what they saw, some seeing nothing and even making fun of him. But after a few days and the ships got closer to the coast and more people could see strange objects moving on the water. Then someone said: Oh it must be the gods from the sky, those from the tale of.. XY god is floating above the ocean. THEN they could actually see the giant ships approaching them. the point im trying to make is that SIGHT perception is never objective. It is an interpretation of the brain based on sensory data. the more data we have, the more accurate our interpretation becomes, the more closer it gets to reality. A human brain can only SEE in his head, so the concept, our world view comes first, THEN we try to recognize what is there in terms of meaning. So the natives had to make up a fitting concept for what they saw, (some "god" stuff) before they could actually see the ships in front of them. It means that to create a new fitting concept, we need much more data and personal interaction. It also means that, if we have low data of a NEW thing, our interpretation is likely wrong. Only when we can interact with it, then we have enough data to create a concept closer to what is actually there. The UFO thing, for most people is a superficial fun thing. nothing bad about curiosity or fantasy. But for those looking deeper; their concepts are likely wrong because of lack of concrete data. Anton's approach is understandable. He considers we dont even know what data is hoax and what is not, so he assumes it is nothing meaningful. Though, hoax is a bit mean to say, because i think most UFO accounts are genuine, in the sense that, people actually believe in what they saw. But there is ALWAYS that other "normal" explanation, like the abductions being birth memories, the sightings weather balloons or planes, the speed datas in the accounts being technical malfunctions etc. In my opinion it is most sensible to stay in the "i know nothing" realm. even if there is "real" evidence of alien UFO, in terms of meaning, if i fix myself on the alien thing, i might miss out on other possibilites, like other human civilisation from the past or future or contemporary human military stuff or some party's agenda of propaganda or distraction. I want to see all of those as equal possibilities. The only way to remain open for new information is to not have any concept and just assume that i dont know what is up. I trust in myself to know the point where there is enough data to ACT and make a concrete decision, based on what i think is the most "likely to be true" concept. Still keeping in my head that i dont, that i cannot know for sure, ever.

I always thought the alien autopsy was a fake for one reason. If it was an actual autopsy of an unknown lifeform there would have been someone there constantly taking close up still photos to record the whole procedure. They would not be just taking a video where the close up detail can't even be clearly seen. This would be a lifeform with unknowm organs and anatomy and they were just removing things without even examining them or labelling them or recording what went where.

Jim Slaight, and the two other pilots, waited 15 years to get a hotel and free meal? The story broke without them. It would seem counter to their own benefit to risk tarnisihing their reputations to lie about UFOs/UAPs for a hot meal and a warm bed. It's important that these sightings are supported with radar data, but also important to listen to the Navy pilots tell their encounter. 18 years in the service, at the top of their game, including the pilots on the East Coast. Important to note none of the pilots are claiming Aliens, just that they are out their when flying and they need to be investigated. It also seems that people have such an emotional response to even the idea of Aliens... on both sides of the fence.

Hello wonderful Anton. The problem with your explanations is that the Pentagon videos are standing alone. All of them were shot by professional and well trained military pilots. Pilots, who actually saw those UAPs or UFOs. Not only they actually saw them, but they were close enough to be able to estimate the size of those objects and their training allowed them to approximate the speed and directions the objects moved. Pilots are precisely the people who can professionally evaluate aerial capabilities of UFOs and compare them to aerial capabilities of the conventional flying machines. And by reports of almost all pilots the capabilities of UFOs are more then impressive - super tight turns, acceleration in multiple”g”s, beyond human abilities and absence of conventional engines and flight controls (wings, tails etc). I understand, you’re trying to be careful in what you’re saying, but it should not stop you from being factual.

I totally agree with you man. I just wrote a similar response to Anton’s post earlier today. Your response here however was much more thorough and elegantly written. I applaud you good sir for standing up and admitting you changed your mind about this topic given the new information that comes to light in terms of data, new details due to expanded news coverage, etc. I changed my mind as well based on the current evidence. I don’t know what this phenomenon is but it’s become very apparent that these are most likely physical objects in our space and time, not some strange rare weather phenomenon or an artifact/error in the military hardware that recorded all these encounters. Thanks for putting so much effort into your post and for correcting Anton who for whatever reason will not release an update on this topic and publicly retract his incorrect statements. Such a shame. I spent 5 years in Afghanistan watching drone camera feeds ALL day long. None of these videos look remotely odd to me, it's all things we would see on a daily basis. It's parallax, camera aperture, and digital artifacts combining to make things look "weird". It's shameful that these pilots who made the observations either don't know what they're looking at, or are intentionally embellishing. I don't know how they can go through SO much training, and not understand how their equipment works, but that is obviously what's happening in some of these videos. Period.

Implying he is advocating this position because he doesn't think these videos are proof of aliens is underhanded.
