So excited for this game! I even got confirmation from Asmodee Nordic that they will even have demos here in small Sweden so we can get the promos and they will announce dates after Essen Spiel!

Super excited! Watched the stream too! What would you say from your other CCG experience - if there are 16 cards boosters (and not 5-6 cards) and multiple rarities to the card styles (foil, hyperspace etc), will the common card pool without foils etc be easier (and cheaper) to collect/obtain? Would be great to hear the opinion of the whole crew, maybe on the next podcast episode ;)

They should be! As long as there isn't a general product shortage similar to Lorcana, I'd expect it to be very reasonable to obtain a full playset of commons + uncommons.

How many booster boxes should one buy to get most of the cards?

1-2 boxes would probably be good, then supplement with buying singles from there

Seeing the way so many of their games of the last decade died horribly does not give me confidence at the moment. I hope that FFG has learned from its mistakes because SW Unlimited looks and plays incredible.

I dont think so. The buyer group is significantly smaller than for example for a LEGO. My Revan figure in a polybag for 10eur is now worth about 150 eur. Also the SW IP is dying and the fan base is smaller and new ones do not join in.

Hopefully your LGS will get a big enough allocation that bots won't be an issue, we're all keeping our fingers crossed

Ill probably get some comons/uncomons for cheap to add to my 30+ samples of all the trading / collectible card games, just for SW i have SW CCG, Young Jedi, Jedi Knight - all 3 from Decipher, SW TCG from Wizards, SW LCG from FFG and SW Destiny also from FFG -> thats 6 card games only from the SW IP
