Love this !!! and yeah, source images are super important ! I love making AI art in art deco style for patterns in unique calming color pallets. Also, for some reason, love an "image" that is basically some kind of cursive text...

Art Deco is such a good suggestion! We'll add it in the second round of source image recommendations... someday :)

We actually made a video on that topic recently! You can find it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYCsc4mbasdkq80. If you're looking for more inspiration, search KZbin for "repper coloring book". There are a few more people who made videos about it.

Can we adjust resolutions and pixels of our patterns and can we save them in desktop Van we export them in photoshop or illustrator
@repper

Hi there! Have a look at our Help Center (bit.ly/repper-help-centre) to find out how to change resolution (tip: go to the export tab and click "Custom" size). Yes, you can export your patterns to your computer and then use those image files in your other graphics software 👍

How to sell this pattern
@repper

We at Repper mostly focus on the pattern MAKING :) To sell your patterns: a quick online search will yield countless course and videos online, ranging from selling the patterns themselves to applying them to products and selling those. Good luck!

Royalty free DOES NOT mean it's free to use. This is a common mistake. You may still have to buy a licence. Please get this right, it's very misleading for many people.
@repper
@repper 11 ай бұрын
Hi @annedarling, that's correct, not all royalty-free images are free, but free images are royalty-free :) We may have phrased it a bit badly in the video, but the websites we listed are (1) royalty-free and (2) have free options too. I hope it was amply clear from the video that it is essential to _always_ check the copyright and usage rights for any image you use that is not your own.

It’s better to use commercial free, because those can be used for business purposes.

They need to be Vector images of you are going to print them on clothing ect
@repper
@repper Жыл бұрын
Vector and bitmap images can both work great! In the end, both vector and bitmap will be converted to dots by the printer. With bitmap you just need to make sure that the output resolution matches the DPI needs for your print. So if you want a specific pattern to work as a 3x3 inch tile at 300 DPI, you'll need a 900x900 pixel tile. I wrote a whole blog series about DPI and resolution for those interested to go deeper: blog.repper.app/tag/dpi/. Repper also supports vector, by the way. There are some limitations you'll need to be aware of with vector, which you can read about in our Help Centre.
