I think people are mixing prescription drugs for anxiety with alcohol on the plane or pre-flight. In trying to numb themselves they are causing reactions. That may be the true in at least some cases.

I like airport food. There are some strange people in airports, I saw a grown woman dressed like a cat last month. Then I saw a 300 pound man sneaking a little chihuahua on the plane in his shirt. There were funny smells too....

This self righteous person is ignorant. Planes losing parts mid flight is not due to maintenance issues by the respective airlines. It is due to Boeing's hiring practices of DEI with less than qualified personnel producing parts that are defective that become dislodged mid flight. Unless and until DEI and woke policies get resolved. Those who have to travel by air will have anxiety but a passenger striking a gate agent is wholly uncalled for.
