1. Set goals for yourself
She initially aspired to study aeronautical engineering.
2. Don't be conventional
She accepted offers to join the Indian film industry, which came as a result of her pageant wins, making her Bollywood debut in The Hero.
3. Work super hard
Starring roles in the highly successful productions Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Krrish, and Don established her as a leading actress of Indian cinema.
4. #Believe in yourself
She won the National Film Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for playing a troubled model in the drama Fashion.
5. Have boundaries
In 2015, she began starring as Alex Parrish on the ABC thriller series Quantico.
6. Find the right balance
By starring in Quantico, she became the first South Asian woman to headline an American network series.
7. Be an achiever
In 2016, she produced the acclaimed comedy-drama Ventilator.
8. Stay committed
In addition to her acting career, Chopra is noted for her philanthropic work.

I love this girl, she sometimes comes across as being cocky here as you don't get the full picture. Priyanka comes from a small town in India. In Bigger metropolitan cities people look down upon people from smaller cities. When Priyanka entered the industry she struggled a lot. She was cast as the pretty girl in many movies initially as she was a Miss World, but she got also replaced and removed from many of these when she had actually already signed contracts. Eventually something changed in Priyanka and she only did challenging roles. She established herself as one of the best and most complex and layered actresses in India. On top of that she was asked by ABC to run a show and that's how she crossed over to the USA. She has received a national award for her acting from the government and is a strong voice for girl education. Really inspiring and hard working girl.

I think she is realistic. How many people want to get famous and get into acting etc? Only a few will succeed and she says if she failed this career path she would go back to college to continue studying aeronautical engineering. She left the course in her first year, so I'm sure she could go back and do that.

Point 10 was the best. And the part about keeping emotions to yourself, I know almost all women (especially Mothers) in India do that. It is considered good and mothers are encouraged not to show their distressed side or sad side to their kids and husband and this sacrifice is never acknowledged. I think she used that power to her advantage by using it in a professional setting.

I hope you achieve all that you believe in. 🙏🏼 About this video- I really liked PC and her attitude towards things. I do have mixed feelings about Pt. No. 10 (Be Irreplaceable)- I have seen many instances where people who are irreplaceable become prisoners of that particular job or company. Being irreplaceable probably works for freelancers and actors whose career (and livelihood) depends upon the contracts they get. But if you are working in a post office and you are irreplaceable, chances are that people will do everything in their power to keep you there. Love Priyanka but we need to discuss something. In a time where Indians and bollywood is knee deep in discussions around nepotism and how outsiders don’t get opportunity. Let’s also talk about how certain people from specific background do not get chances to break out into films. Something we should discuss. There is a caste system alive in India, and certainly there aren’t many Dalits who get the opportunity. Priyanka talks about doing Mary Kom, who is north eastern, who are famously underrepresented in Bollywood films. Wouldn’t it be fair to give this role to a north eastern? We talk about opportunities but we never give them to people.
