I built this deck earlier today and played it about a dozen times and I had to adjust the hell out of it. I find the most effective disruption is actually with Team Grunt to discard your opponents energy every time no matter what combined with Giovanni, giacomo, hammer, grabber, league hq, eri, and sisters. Nobody can play with no energy or items. Throw a TM devo and a TM evo in and you eliminate the search for 4/60 sco ex that is what usually kills your match early on and also ensure they’re not playing zard/bax/blastoise acceleration/meowscarada/incineroar/etc after they run out of 🍭. Also easy KOs when they retreat damaged stage 1/2 mon. I also tried a variant with a dunsparce engine which made it super easy to find everything I needed without ever decking myself out like I did a couple times with this initial build. It’s fantastic, but you get boxed or screwed on a bad start or a second turn quite often. Running a pidgeot ex engine with this was quite interesting as well as reversal energy instead of a couple grass for single-attachment attacking (making room by taking out exp share since it wasn’t needed anymore). Rotom, and/or lumineon, and/or vanishing wing pidgeot w/ a seal stone was pretty fantastic as well. And I found more luck with a spec cape than the belt due to how many people are running future/ancient engines and tusk mills as well as v star over ex. Basically the ONLY deck that spec helps with is zard ex or hands while it helps with literally every single other deck to have 100 more hp while milling/stalling. VERY fun and volatile deck overall.

@@Savageaf303 Luminous should work. Reversal Energy counted as Fire in the Zorobox deck that use to run Scovillian, and as far as I can tell Luminous should work all the same. The biggest problem is that it requires three energy to use the attack in the first place.
