​@@MetroSportsYTDude we see unexpected teams make the playoff often with a quick turnarounds. Like Bengals, Lions, and Texans last season for example. Cardinals last season had alot of injuries and lack of talent but played hard. Played with alot of heart. They beat more playoff teams than others playoff contenders did. Healthy Cardinals team that has a great draft with a weak schedule in very weak NFC definitely has a shot to make some noise.

Cardinals had the most offensive yards in the league in their last 4 games. 4th most rushing yards last season. Not bad for a mediocre line and no WRs, right? They'll draft 2 WRs and an Oline player. Jon Gaines comes back from injury and could be a good guard. Frojolte has been a solid center. The much bigger problem is defense. Might take a couple years to really fix that.

I agree as long as we get one of the top 3 wr's, next 2 or 3 picks need to be defense. OLine is underrated, considering JWilliams has been a top rated OT until they shifted him to the right side playing a scheme he wasn't ever brought up in. Jon Gaines was drafted for this year as a LG or RG knowing had he not gotten hurt he would have been the top Guard taken. Defense worries me, it has to be J Newton or Mcinstry at 27 and the opposite at 35 with 66 being an edge rusher probably MO Kamara. Then guard/center followed by wr and hb. That will change the team around, if we need more help go after tee or trey from the Bengals with a 3rd from next years draft.

@@Sandviper9322 JWilliams wasn’t happy with the Bengals last year and AZ was his preferred destination. Hopefully that translates into really solid play. Cardinals never met with Kool-Aid. They met with 4 or 5 CBs so they are definitely taking 1 or 2. If they got Jerry Rice’s kid in the 3rd round we’d have football royalty at the games at least - lol. Going to be a fun next couple of days.

Marvin Harrison Jr., Jared Verse/Chop Robinson/Jer'Zhan Newton/Byron Murphy, Christian Haynes, Mohamed Kamara/TVondre Sweat, and then like some other random receiver that fell would be the IDEAL draft

Playoff contenders? No. Competitive. Yes. Kyler still has a lot to prove. The roster still needs to improve. I say give it one more season. I will be more than happy if they are contenders this year though.

I agree that the odds of the cards making the playoffs are slim, but no one thought the Texans would make it to the divisional round in 2023. I think your assessment is realistic and fair but I want to believe!

He can be the third best player on our offense and we can win 9 games. He doesn’t have to be superman anymore with our run gm and how our def will likely be 20th at worst this yr. Just has to be accurate and not get hurt.

I would look at the 2022 Lions when looking for a good comparison. Went from 3-13-1 in 2021 and then improved to 9-8 in 2022 before it all really came together this past year. Id say the Cards are looking at a near .500 year, but a much clearer view of how the pieces fit together and what needs to be added.

I'm _THEE BIGGEST ARIZONA CARDINALS FAN_ on the East Coast(...from New Jersey specifically) but honestly, I just don't actually see them making the playoffs next season. I _DEFINITELY_ think that they'll improve on the same 4-13 record they had from the past 2 seasons. I believe that if the Cardinals finish with anywhere from 7-9 games; and I think that a plus .500 would be an incredible season for the _Arizona Cardinals._ ...and _James Connor_ is _DEFINITELY_ a _TOP 10-12 RB_ in the league _RIGHT NOW!!!_ I think our smash mouth style of play will be a top 10-15 offense that are led by Kyler Murray, James Connor, Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, Greg Dortch and Trey McBride... ...and a defense that's on "the up and up" and they're led by Budda Baker, Jalen Thompson, Dennis Gardeck, Sean Murphy-Bunting, Zaven Collins, BJ Ojilari, D. Robinson, Z. White, G. Williams, K. Clark, Max Melton, and _WHOEVER ELSE DECIDES TO STEP UP..._ I believe that the _Arizona Cardinals_ will finish with a record of... _7-10 8-9_ ...or _9-8_

Zero sacks in last 6 games with a defensive Coach.. not good… couldn’t draw up a blitz package.. that’s what it is when moving players out of position like Collins.. he’s not an edge.. his numbers the yr before were very solid.. if you can evaluate talent any rd and un drafted players shine all the time with coaching and schemes

The fact that Kyler will have a full offseason with the new coaching staff and the fact that he actually has a good coaching staff/play caller will make a massive difference. Pair that with new receivers and an even further improved O Line and we might actually be able to see how Kyler performs when he is not expected to do literally everything himself.

I think you’re really sleeping on Clark and Williams at CB. I’m more worried about how our D-line might shape up. D-line needs to be a big priority

The biggest difference I've seen this off season is Kyler. He has really stepped up and this offseason has really shown that. He has been 100% commited and participating in everything. Even when he was out with his torn ACL he was apart of the team, being there for tape, studying with the players and being a big presence in the lockerroom. His injury was a big wake up call for him and I've watched him grow into a franchise QB. If Gannon and everyone didnt have faith in him and seeing his progression and stepping up they wouldnt have drafted MHJ and most likely went with a QB in the 4th round. Give kyler credit man
