Kind of make sense why Reygan is surprised about the peppiness of this car. Also there's 3 driving modes on the consumer released units: Eco Mode, Normal Mode and Sports Mode. Also the consumer released units now has Android Auto along with Apple Car Play.

Very nice car. Hopefully the Philippines will get the new redesigned Tiggo 8 Pro that is due to be released later this year as a 2023. Really nice looking front end with a Lexus like spindal grille. If not, it's still probably the best crossover available at its price point.

Yes been looking at this the figures I get is 7km per 100km for the Chery where as the Geely is a lot better.

Okavango has better mpg because it is a mild hybrid. However based on Coolray that has no hybrid system, it consumes the same amount of fuel but the Tiggo 8 Pro has better driving refinement because it is 4 cylinder. I heard Okavango has inferior mpg compared to RAV 4 when you both drive them like you're not considering saving the fuel even though Oka is 3 cylinder. Although Oka is bigger compared to RAV 4 but the hybrid system of Toyota is miles ahead of Geely and Toyota's reliability is unquestionable. But for this Tiggo 8 Pro, I might consider this car.

Sir Reygan, you really enjoyed driving the Tiggo 8 Pro hehe (actually, both the non-hybrid and PHEV). Good review of various crossovers, as always :) Chery, together with MG, Changan, and all other Chinese brands, will continue yapping at Geely. Don't know who will eventually give in because the leveling-up among them is non-stop. Very good for Filipino car buyers :) P.S. Requesting for a review of the newly-launched Peugeot 2008. The P1.55M price of a French-badged crossover (assembled in Malaysia) is very intriguing.

Lotus has nothing to do with the Azkarra. Only the engine has influence from Volvo. Everything else is completely Geely.

I watched the Tiggo 8 PHEV video and to be honest, I cringed at the "PEEHEV" term. Now, on this video it is starting to annoy me. He could have said "Tiggo 8 Plug-in" or "Tiggo 8 Plug-in Hybrid" just like every other car reviewers in the world. Other reviewers around the world just say "Plug-in" or "Plug-in Hybrid" but this is the first time "PEEHEV" was annoyingly and extensively used.
