School is also creating a platform of General knowledge and Life Skills from which the kids can launch into adulthood failry well equipt to deal with life in general with as many open doors as possible from which to choose their first career paths. Thats the purpose of it. Something you hate now - may develop into something you love later when you have wrapped your head around it. I hated history at school and dropped it as soon as I could but now love reading historical novels and stories as those are interesting in so many ways and explains so much about the present and peoples lives. Most things you can always study further on your own but in many cases - you need the initial qualification to get into the courses - to study further and thats what school is providing for you - so hang in there and be patient with your subjects and hopefully the rewards and skills you gained will be worth the effort and help to provide you with a good and stable future in years to come so you can live your best life and provide opportunities to others.

Thank you so much for your message! I'm happy to hear that you found this video helpful. You have done so well for your son. He is lucky to have such a caring and generous father. Helping your son find the reason why he is learning, might assist him in realizing the importance of school. Teenagers would know mostly what they are interested in, so maybe help him draw a vision board and express to him the importance of schooling to achieve his vision and goals. I hope this helps 🙏

Thanks for your reply @@dablakmark8! Technology definitely opens up a wide range of opportunities for the youngsters of today and being a content creator has become a popular career choice, however to be very good at something you have to understand language, create correct content, be able to calculate income vs expenditure, all of which requires schooling. We think that it is unnecessary until we are in the working environment. Maybe invest in some time where you research content creators and how they actually get to be successful, take him on that journey. Public speaking, information and all that is needed to be successful will come from needing to go to school. I hope this helps!

I completely agree with this, however what if your kid literally has “zero” motivation and no goals in life at all. They literally just want to live at home and live off of the parents because they literally admit to just being lazy.

Hey Jonathan, thanks so much for reaching out. 😎 That's a great question. Sadly, we do hear of that situation happening more often than we'd like. It really is a difficult one. The key starting point there is finding out what exactly it is that put your child in that mindset in the first place. More often than not, admitting to being "lazy" is a cover-up for a deeper problem. We wrote a blog article on apathetic learners and how parents can encourage them. You can check it out here: www.worksheetcloud.com/blog/how-to-encourage-your-apathetic-child/ We also wrote a blog article on helping children find their passions. Another big reason why children often don't try is because they haven't found something that's worth working hard for. You can read that article here: www.worksheetcloud.com/blog/does-your-child-know-their-passions/ Let us know your thoughts on the above. Have an awesome week ahead!

What can I do if my child is only 5 and she hates kindergarten?
@WorksheetCloudApp Жыл бұрын
Hey Shayla! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. 😊 I'm really sorry to hear that your child is having a tough time at kindergarten. You're definitely not alone with this one. We've had many mom's experience the exact same issue. I know personally that I was one of those children that hated going to kindergarten. I'd have screaming fits every time my mom would drop me off. I found an article on this topic that shares some really great advice. Hopfeully you'll find some value in it: www.parents.com/kids/education/elementary-school/when-your-child-doesnt-want-to-go-to-school/ All the best! 💜

H3LL Nah I Don't Wanna Do 6:00:00 Of School

Thanks for your comment @Amal Ahmed! 😁 Trust me, I know how it feels not wanting to spend 6 hours in school every day. However, it's like Adrian said, it's about the habits we are forming along the way to work hard and smartly. These are valuable tools that we all need in life. It might seem challenging now, but it makes a massive difference once you leave school. Instead of focusing on the amount of time you have to spend in class every day, focus on the positive outcomes that it will have in your life as you eventually start working towards your goals.
