42nd Street is on the west side of Grand Central which is the east side. Times square is only 5 mins from Grand Central on the Shuttle. Is Empress new to NY? Could have taken 1 stone to kill to birds. 42nd Street Grand Central east side n 42nd street Times Square west side so u closed where the ball will drop on New Year Eve. Need someone who is more familiar with the city to take u around. There is slot to see. Go walk over the Brooklyn bridge n come back. Train to Grand Central n 4 train downtown to Brooklyn Bridge stop , come outside, walk on the bridge to downtown Brooklyn n back. When u get back walk to the twin towers or now call the Freedom tower. Lots to see over there , including the beautiful Occulus. Be safe amino n have fun.
