Yes, they're the same, just different colour. I'm pretty sure the word sweater can be used for either a pullover or a cardigan in American English.

I am so scared about all of this situation. We are not doing good here in Italy either and I am in isolation now cause we had contact with a positive person and I am still waiting to get tested. I am worried sick about my "bro" in Mengeš and his family, too
