I can say without a doubt my mamas prayers are the only thing that kept me alive back when I was living in sin & darkness. I walked away from too many things I shouldn't have, if you understand what I'm saying. Eventually I found my way back to God after trying everything the world had to offer & finding out there wasn't anything out there I wanted.

My Mom sure prayed for me. 28 years ago I was shot 2x with a 12 gauge shotgun to my abdomen & head. I'm still here by the grace of answered prayers by my Mom & the members of Cornerstone Church in DuBois, PA where I'd been living. I'm so saved & so Blessed!!

Same here!!! She prayed me home from Beirut, Panama, Desert Storm, Somalia and Afghanistan, She gave me a Bible that day I got on the bus to Parris Island back in February 1982, and made me promise to carry it with me every where I went. Told me if I ever got into a spot I didn't know which way to turn, I'd find the answers in that Bible. I kept it in my pack and pulled it out often, most everyday. The back cover fell off in Saudi Arabia and I made a new one out of MRE cardboard and duct tape.....I retired in 2005 and Mama is gone now, but I still have and still carry that little Bible with me every where I go.....

My mama was a fine Christian woman who loved God with all her heart and soul. She grew up in a Christian home and back then children were taught right from wrong, respect for their elders and just good ole Christian values. If I needed prayer I'd go straight to my mama....and daddy. I knew she could get Heaven to pay attention and the angels would spread their wings in preparation!! I miss her so, so much. She went home to be with the Lord July 6, 2020. I held her hand as she took her last breath but I know she left this world to be crowned at Jesus feet. I was 62 at that time but still a "mama's" baby. I know I'll see her again one day....her and my preacher dad that passed away June 21, 2006. I could use prayers from all the prayer warriors out there as I just lost my husband of 41 years to a sudden heart attack. I found him here at home on the bedroom floor. I had been asleep in another room and heard nothing! The coroner said he'd been gone around 8 hours! I feel so bad about not knowing, about him laying there but he said I couldn't have done anything if I'd been standing right next to him. He said he was likely gone before he hit the floor. I feel so lost and alone as mama lived here with us. Now I have lost them both. I know Jesus is here with me and he will see me through this. Thank you for your prayers!!

I’m currently at AIT in Virginia I’m in the United States Army as a 15G. I’m just a simple southern boy who misses going to church with his family.. I got my orders I’ll be going to South Korea in October... can someone remember to pray for me during these times... during basic I was reading my Bible and having bible studies, but here recently the devils been working hard, but my God works hard for me and I just really need to get back into my bible and prayer. This song means so much to me. I was raised in a foster home all my life. Luckily, God arranged for me to be in a Christian God fearing family. My foster Mother, was a praying woman. I remember nights of her crying out to God as she was praying. I had to let her go back in January 17th 2001. But I was blessed by a message I heard one Sunday morning. If you had a praying mother and she's gone home to be with Jesus. She left prayers on layaway. That God will send down when needed. I praise God for for my mother. She might not have been biologically my mother. But she was more.

Dad bought grandma's old house and she lived with us there for years. As a young kid in the summer with open windows I heard her pray for her wayward sons at night. Most of my uncles found redemption before their deaths long after she passed. Those prayers had 3 answers: yes, no, and wait. Thank God I don't think any were No.

My mother died and went to be wiith Jesus on January 28th 2009. There is truth to that song when my mother praid heaven paid attention.
