Also the significance of the dollhouses, from the opening frame of the movie to the final frame, was to symbolize that everything was being controlled by an outside force and the characters inside were all being controlled and manipulated from start to finish.

Mom was always a defence between Peter and the family until she was broken by the unraveling of her family. Remember the scene where she was sleepwalking into Peter's room and they had the Convo before the fire consumed them?Peter asked why she wanted to kill him and she answered "I Didn't, I was trying to Save You!" Her subconscious parental instinct if that's what you wanna call it was to kill him rather than let him be taken over by the family and the P monster. (I don't call entities by their names) Sadly it didn't work in the end.

You're right, except he didn't put it in a form of a question. It was a statement to himself as a reassurance or trying to convince himself, though he knew what happened. He just blocked it all, hence him just going straight home and getting right into bed. He became numb to the grief. Some ppl just immediately shut down.

The scene where it goes from night to dark, I think you missed the naked cult members surrounding the house. Also I think you missed Mom in the corner of the bedroom when he sat up and she crawled across the wall. Also she was downstairs in the upper corner in the ceiling behind his head. Idk if you caught that or not. That little ring light that we see throughout the movie was P monster making his presence in and around the family.

It's so strange, Annie (the mom) seemed like she didn't know what was going on but in her dream she mentioned she was trying to 'save' Peter by having a miscarriage, how would she have known that if she didn't know that Peter would become a vessel for a demon spirit? And at times it seemed like she did know about the cult and what her grandmother did.

Great reaction Kazzy. One funny thing: You mentioned "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" which, for me personally, is the scariest movie ever made. And barely anyone is talking about it. It's still super underrated. What makes this movie very scary for me is the fact that it's based on a true story and it happened in my country and pretty close to where I live. So when I was a kid it was still pretty big news (even ~15 years later) and constantly on TV. So I remember how I was a little boy and I got a bad flue. I couldn't sleep and I didn't have to go to the school the next day. So in the middle of the night I started watching TV and guess what was running? A documentary about Anneliese Michel (the real, german name of Emily Rose). And so I was watching it and it was super scary and then they played some real recorded sound footage of the Exorcism. It's even here on KZbin (people uploaded it for some reason....). It scared the hell out of me. And so I grew up and all of a sudden Hollywood makes a movie about it. Well... I 'm a big horror fan so was excited to watch it and... oh boy... I was not prepared. Watching the movie, in combination with what I saw and heard when I was a kid (when I watched the documentary alone at home), was just brutal. I watched the movie twice. Alone at home and a second time with my two best friends. Just to make sure if it was just me or if others would be scared shitless too. And one of my friends stopped watching horror films all together after this. He said "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" was the scaries movie he ever saw and he never wants to watch another horror film again. To this day. Lol... So yeah, it is scary. Especially when you know that it all really happened here in German and that it's still impossible to explain how it all happened. Nightmare fuel.

@@KazzyCreates ummm just so you know... *The Exorcist* starring Linda Blair... Is also based on a true paranormal event.... Except in the real story it was a guy who gets possessed not a little girl..... And to give you further proof....... *The Ghost Adventures* team actually visited the house where the exorcism actually took place and.....um..... The house 🏠 is now tainted with residual demonic energy... Most of neighbors who live near the house they try to avoid it or walk on the other side of the sidewalk. And some have claimed they've heard strange stuff happen if you want I can get you a link to that episode...... In fact it was one of their Halloween specials. What makes this episode particularly unique is that it's also the same episode that one of the original crew members left the show, Nick Groff immediately after that episode him and Zack Beggans has a falling out. Coincidence idk... Some say Zack wasn't being authentic and what not, but I believe that house did something to Zack or Nick that's caused the falling out

@@KazzyCreates okay to clarify what you had to go through.... Back in olden times during the time of the Bible when Lucifer fell from heaven he took with him 1/3 of the angelic host 1/3 and there are millions and billions of these now there are few of them that are known that are known as generals of hell or in this case Kings of hell paimon is one of them Pazuzu is another one gangion is another one.... in this horrible story.. this coven that Jone and Grandmother that past is a part of a swedish pagan religion. If you want to know more about that *Watch Midsommar* because the grandmother is or was the descending MAY QUEEN of that culture.... The small group she ran, wanted more power, and wealth ect. And in order for them to do this they wanted to raise one of those "kings of hell" and Paimon was their choice.... And the grandmother was trying to do that through Toni Collette's brother she talked about during that meeting she went to... Remember he commented suicide... But she failed the first time, well in this movie she tries again by putting a spell over Toni Collette while she was pregnant. Well the spell worked, but Toni gave birth to a girl not a boy. Sooooo, throughout the whole movie the grandmother trained her "subjects" to continue the Ritual of summoning Paimon to earth in a human male body (Peter) all those glyphs you saw those strange writings everywhere, on the lamp poles, in the attic of their home, those were binding spells to manipulate the mother and Peter. Jone (The Witch) was the grandmother's right hand mistress.. and knows a lot of DARK MAGIC SPELLS....... When she did the whole *"PETER!!!!!! GET!!!!!!! OOOOOOOOOOUT!!!!!"* She was actually forcing control over Peter's soul or spirit. That's why you saw what happened in his classroom when they slammed his head against his desk... The whole cutting off heads is their offering to Paimon, Charlie (the little girl) was just a physical vessel that Paimon inhabited, those "CLICKS" of her tung is a tick that Paimon does.... When the husband (Father to Peter) said that the mom was the one who exhumed the grandmother's body from her grave 🪦 he was right... Remember how she sleepwalks, well in reality she was put under a very powerful spell. And you got to see that near the end where she chased Peter throughout the house and up into the Attic where she was pounding her head against.... The reason why the film is shot in that particular way is to convey the amount of control that religious group had over entire family...

Don't know why you would say that it's impossible to explain what happened. The human psyche led in the wrong direction can cause terrible self distructive behaviors. Anneliese suffered from epilepsy and schizophrenia and never got the right treatment. She was surrounded by religious fanatics who further fed her psychotic delusions instead of giving the girl support, love, treatment and food/water. They put her through 60 !!! turtorous exorcism attempts instead of getting her to a f*cking hospital and giving her medication. It's nothing but a sad case of a young woman who didn't recieve the help she needed.

Pro tips, Henry's first class at 14 minutes, is a repeat of Halloween! Also the trailer was released, the same day the hallolween reboot opened! Peter's distorted face, actually happened by mistake...he dislocated his jaw during the slamming... it's not makeup!😮. I've had a few chances to work in some Indy films as an actor...I guess I have some type of look...that film likes, or a character look, I've never done it tho. At the funeral, the touching of her lips is like trying to absorb some of her conjuring power. The thing in Annie's tea, is each a bit of dirt or pebble from the gravesite, or its a piece of herb i think called, herb of Syria, something like that. Its used in cults to make u more accessible to possession...also think, every word out of grandma and Joanie's mouth was a lie. And u can bet they both killed off the male members of their families, to gain power or get Paimon into one of the male bodies. Or both. Joanie knew, if Annie did a seance, by herself or with family, she would let Paimon/Charlie loose in her house, because Annie had zero idea how to end a seance, or send demons back to where they came from. So Annie's dad was either starved by Grandma or he did it to himself purposely, to be weak and no good for a demon. Annie's brother said in his suicide note, Grandma was putting people inside him. And Joanie? Probably herself, drowned her son and grandson!

I’m not at all being rude, jsut think you would really enjoy this and we’re jsut focused on doing the video for KZbin and not the movie, like the naked people , cult memebers are in at least 8-10 other scenes but u didn’t notice till the end in the attic. My dear lady, you should probably watch on a larger screen or in a darker environment, because you missed out on some of the most important visual elements of the movie (there is a lot of stuff that is barely visible in regular lighting). Also, there is no shame in pausing to read notes, books, obituaries, etc, because there is a lot of exposition that helps explain some of the more confusing plot elements. Just some friendly suggestions, still enjoyed your reaction!

Just a movie, but the sad thing is that there are people who get into this kind of horrible stuff: seances, consulting mediums, spiritism, occult, etc. All very dangerous. As a Catholic priest who has worked with some of our exorcist priests, I want to warn anyone watching this to stay away from these things and consider this: God and his grace are the most powerful forces in the universe, especially for defeating and defending against evil. If you ever experience evil or chaos in your life that you fear might be connected to dark forces, DO NOT BE AFRAID to call upon the grace of Jesus Christ! Grace is the decisive defense in these matters.

If you can’t see very well, why are you not wearing glasses. It’s mind boggling what you don’t even care that you miss in this film. This is not Scream or I Know What You Did Last Summer. Every frame is purposeful. It’s important to have read what her mom wrote on that notecard. It’s important to have seen what Annie saw in her workshop. So much is important that you didn’t pick up on
