What a con artist drew..... thats a beautiful 18th c fruitwood farmhouse table with original patination it only needs waxing and he tells them its fake and only offers 450... taking advantage of these poor folk. I have dealt in early furniture for 30 years now he should be well ashamed😊 an excellent example like this one having a nice thick top with cleated ends, good overhang and robust chamferred legs joined by an H-stretcher base still on its toes and with a rich and deep patina typical of fruitwood should be valued between 3500 and 4950. Once it has had some beeswax fed this will turn out a stunner.
