Robin's rockin' this track!!!💖 However, it's the whole package (Sir Barry, twin brother Mo, and the rest of the band...) that makes Robin truly shine!

Robin's light doesn't depend on his brothers but they are always great together.
@lena-mariag.louis-charles35793 жыл бұрын
@@sometimeslyrical With all due respect, my comment is about Robin's extraordinary voice - the way he vocalizes the lyrics to this particular instrumental arrangement (which is beautifully executed by the rest of the band...), and his brothers' marvelous backing vocals on the track - all of it making Robin's voice truly shine. If You're referring to Robin's inner light (?), that's a different matter altogether.

Just catching this now: Always loved this track......and Robin, dear Robin. His unique voice is off the scale. Robin was a real hottie back then too with his long blonde locks(dwina influenced I would say) Everybody loved Barry, but I was always attracted to Robin & Maurice's quirkiness and wit AND they changed up their look over the years, unlike Barry who to this day still rocks the long hair - he looked amazing when he tied it back in a ponytail for "You win again" video. Much sexier if you will. Yep, this was a good choice Chad - had me dancing around my lounge on this wet miserable Sunday afternoon in Derry City, N. Ireland.

@@juanita6479 - I'm beginning to fear it is true that a lot of what passes as good music now is simply untalented people regurgitating old songs using auto tune. I am sure there is talent out there but where are the new earth shattering, trend setting artists like The Beatles, Queen, Bee Gees and great solo artists like Tom Jones and Dusty Springfield who will actually have staying power? We have a bunch of Korean boys dancing to a beat box. Could you imagine Janis Joplin on the same stage as those clowns? 🤡 Everybody needs a gimmick. After hearing Kanye West attempt "Bohemian Rhapsody" I wanted repeat the words of the song.... "put my gun against his head, pulled the trigger now he's dead". Yikes! The music industry now is all formula. Cute guys and girls with a back up extravaganza, pyrotechnics and commercialism. Talented people don't stand a chance. Little wonder artists like the Gibbs are resurging once again. People are craving and discovering REAL talent thanks to You Tube and people like Chad.

@@juanita6479 - I liked ABBA too. If the new songs are good I'll give them a listen. At least they're all the original members writing and performing new songs instead of maybe one surviving member or two surviving members (like Queen) rehashing old material usually of far lesser quality. Leave the original music alone. If it was great to begin with and performed by amazing one of a kind artists, don't mess with success. I don't want to hear inferior remakes.

I remember watching Rick Dees' late night show in 1991 and hearing this song for the first time when The Bee Gees appeared and thought for sure they were on track for another Top 10 hit following 1989's "One". Unfortunately, there was very little promotion by the record company, so this single and the parent album did nothing in America. Their only album not to chart in the Top 200. Such a great funsong, it is. And they always were really good looking! Did'ya all hear about, what Abba will do. Bringing 'Abbators' on stage. Now I'm so so glad, never ever buyed an album from that kinda fairground band. Barry played live on Glastonbury open air, aged 72 and 120.000 listeners went crazy. Ovations after Ovations he's got. But it seems, grabbing for money will allow, doing such horrable things. If this is the future of music, I'll turn my back on it! Shouldn't musicians in their seventies show their real faces, playing real music live on stage?
