We ordered the Adria in October 2020 ands after only a short delay it is here. We head to Cara Motorhomes to part exchange our Adria Coral for the DL.

Yes please once you guys are settled in you must do a thorough review of your tv, like how you rate the connection and which way you have it set up etc it's the things like that that make your channel which in doing so keeps us on track for when we need to make reference to individual reviews. Awesome Karina and Jules. Very happy for you. We've just got back from 18 days touring around the gorgeous lakes region of Finland in our borrowed Bürstner... still waiting for our mysteriously missing Matrix...🙄😆 The black graphics and silver are sooooo cool. They're miles ahead of the competitors at least in modern styling. I'm really interested to see how the compressor fridge/solar combo goes... the Bürstner's Dometic absorption fridge was really poor... we threw out meat and chicken on 3 occasions (30 euros worth!) and ice cream wouldn't even freeze... and it was working at maximum cooling. Fingers crossed our Thetford works better. Anyway, can't wait to see some reviews, walkarounds etc. Have fun!

I think your Matrix is like a mythical unicorn but I hope they find it 😐 Personally, I am fan of Thetford, it would be my first choice everytime. I imagine the compressor should work well even in the heat. It is the latest T2000 model so is very energy efficient. Take care and enjoy your weekend 😊 Karina

Interesting about the compressor fridge, our boat uses the same and is a little noisy, our caravan is a standard silent absorption type so be interested with your thoughts especially as we go off grid in the van a lot with a 100w panel.

We had a night off grid and hope to test it more. I spoke to Thetford about the fridge and off griding with solar. Our panel is 110w so will talk more about that in the review in a few weeks 😊 Karina

Rewind to last November when you announced the order of you new motorhome. Your expected delivery date was end of May 21. We had just ordered a new Burstner with delivery date early April 21. I remember thinking at the time, "glad we don’t have to wait the extra two months"! Fast forward to today and you have collected your’s. Ours might be ready in early September! Congratulations. It looks a great vehicle. Looking forward to the reviews. I have been told that part of our delay is DVLC. Could you tell me how long it took from arrival at dealer to delivery, and if registration caused delay? Regards Robert

Thank you Robert, as far as I know Cara started the ball rolling with registering it pretty quickly once they knew it was on the way to them. From it arriving at the dealership we collected it in two weeks and that was including having our extras fitted. I hope yours arrived very soon, the waiting it awful! Karina and Jules

I’m particularly interested in the TV set up and 5G Wi-fi. Would you be able to measure the awning length and drop to the ground at the front and rear of the awning. Thanks and we shall do a vlog of the TV and WiFi, so far really pleased with it. The payload is 622 but the air con it about 30kg and the awning probably isnt far off. I think we have probably got a payload of 500kg realistically but we will be going to a weighbridge. Im not surprised you’re looking forward to yours 😊👍 Karina

Love the compacts, would you look into getting the heating converted to diesel for even more off grid? Or would that be too difficult? Would be interested to know how much you could absolutely max out the solar at as well and how much roof space there was 😀 Enjoy your first trip!

Thanks Carl, We won’t be changing the heating, the Truma 4E is a pretty efficient system and in winter we tend to go with EHU. 😊 Our solar is 110w but I’m sure you could add more panels up there if you needed them. In good weather the 110w should provide sufficient charge for our travels but I am keen to find out how it does perform in the real world. Have a nice Sunday 😊 Karina

Thanks for watching, if you were worried about that you can just use the cab door on the nearside. Personally I prefer the habitation door on the offside as I like the privacy of going nose in on a pitch. 😊 Karina

@@HereWeTow Thanks, I have been caravanning for years and the door is always on the near side. I guess using the front passenger seat sort of gets around that for a motorhome. Just don't pitch up at the side of the road.

Just discovered your channel, watched a few videos and liking your content, interested in the WiFi system you mentioned, have you reviewed this yet or is it still to come ? I’m looking at one of these either the Maxview or Avtex version for our motorhome but would like to see some user opinions first as they are quite expensive. Very little on them on KZbin at the moment.

Thanks Steve, yes the review is still to come but we have loads of launch content to get out too so its been pushed back. We have been very pleased with the Motorhome WiFi and use it with our Avtex TV. Our usage is pretty high but we are paying £18 a month on Smarty for unlimited. We had the 5G Flex installed but the 4G would be a sound buy. We would have it fitted again without a doubt. It will be interesting to test it this weekend at a notorious black spot for signal.
