I was just saying to my daughter that even if we get a change of administration, it will take some time to try to rectify the issues that have come up during the last 4 years. I belive we will have a change in command. Even if there is a change in command, it will take companies from all backgrounds at least one year to get their products out to the people. People should still plan accordingly to ensure things do not fall short in their lives.

Yes we too have had a freeze last night and again tonight. Higher elevations had a slight freezing snow. Many people are in danger of frostbite who have lost their homes. Many also still don’t have power where no towns were left to live in. Asheville, NC and surrounding hamlets way up in the higher elevations are still without power.

Hi Toni - I haven’t had time to watch any news - still lots to get done here. Finally finished freeze drying the last of my peppers - took the last load out today and put it through the blender to make cooking spice - habaneros make a very pretty colour when powdered up - but they retain their heat. Still have one basket of carrots left to freeze dry and a basket of beets that needs canning.

Last week got car serviced, tires rotated, slow leak fixed, and new wiper blades put on. Next year i will put on new tires. Breaks are good. All ready for winter.

The hurricane hit Fla very hard. The hospital in the small town over the bridge from us remains closed as does the entire street from flooding. Tornado damage on east coast was extensive. The most beautiful key barrier island in Sarasota was totally wiped out not many grand oaks standing in north central Fla either.this one affected the entire state. North Carolina oh my horrible. Thank God for a good governor in our state.of Fla. I can’t watch Bret or Fox. My mind is made up The Trump man will win.
