The addition of electronic instruments bass and effects in the background has destroyed the listing charm of the sarinda and dhol. I have listened live an excellent stunning performance of Munir Sarhadi Sahib in the 60s and 70's live. His son has also played well. Kindly share his solo recordings. Also with the traditional instruments like rabab, harmonium desi percussions.

I really appreciate the initiative. One thing though, if your aim is to promote and preserve heritage with these nice videos, why don't you present something authentic, such as a traditional rendition of this beautiful song ro ro keda qadamuna using your good recording setup, instead of this cheap fusion-ish production with pointless keyboard chords and bass lines, very badly blended with the sarinda and dholak, which actually kill what you're trying to promote. The result is musically ridiculous and does no justice nor does it benefit the wonderful tradition of Pukhto music. Why don't you leave this sad stuff for Coke studio and co and actually present what this music is really about. For sure all these wonderful but alas impoverished traditional musicians go to Coke Studio and co because there's money there and it's killing the music, that is the sad reality, but this is not better I'm afraid. From what I've seen all your videos are like this. Take inspiration from The Dream Journey youtube channel and what they present, for instance, they are doing a real service to Pakistan heritage. Thanks for your attention.
