Well sorry to tell you this but your 'Opinion' sounds a bit judgemental now... I'm not sure if you realize this but that was how the people dressed back in tahiti back in the days so there were no 'religious attire' only what they had themselves to wear and they purchased

Humans should not feel shame for singing a song about God when He created us in his image. Plus this is the 80s on an island where kids ran around naked with no shame and women wore sarongs and still do. It’s the islander life. Being so judgemental isn’t very Christian like tsk tsk.
