When you have those hard spots on your eyeshadow, don’t scrape it off! Use tape! Just roll the tape in a circle around your fingers and press into the eyeshadow. It will come right up and off. I learned this trick years ago. Wished I could take credit for it, but I learned it from an old (I believe extinct now) beauty board.

I ordered the quad with the bright pink as the ‘unexpected’ color. It was a bust for me. Colors did not blend easily and no comparison to Chanel or Dior in quality. Loved the packaging.

I used a similar mascara colour in the past but used to apply black mascara first and then the burgundy on the top

I don’t recall who had this tip but you can buy a clear waterproof mascara (Clio) and then add the pretty color over it in order to hold your curl. It also works to use cream shadow on a spoolie over a clear waterproof mascara to create your own custom color. Thanks for highlighting 3 of the palettes, but I’m still on the fence.

I would try putting your regular mascara on first then put a coat of the color mascara on top I wonder if that would help keeping the curl and show the color a bit better! I’m in love with your earrings I love them so much!!! ♥️

I liked them, but by the end of the day the shadows were completely gone! Also, the mascara got really clumpy after a couple of weeks. Too bad

Thank you for featuring these 3 quads. I would choose #3 for day, #5 for a classic evening look, and #6 for a party look. The hard-panning on the Ombres Mordorées is aesthetically negative, though it may not impact performance. I have 3 Hermes highlighters - Permabrass, the rose gold one (forgot name) and Rose Atacama - and all three got the « hard-pan look » as soon as I started using them. However, all three l perform beautifully (« as new »). I do think that all three quads are easily dupable, so I will wait for your update on these before taking the plunge. Thanks again.

FYI-just learned a great mascara hack, but unfortunately don’t remember from whom…after applying mascara dust a light coat of powder on your eyelash curler. Recurl lashes. The powder will prevent lashes from sticking and also give some some more substance for the lashes to grab on to for the curl. Works great

Very impressed with this formula, the colors really came alive upon application, and blended so easily. Not so sure about the colored mascara, but that's just me. A+ on those eyeshadows though!

I’ve been super tempted by the grey/brown color story but I’m not sure now - I have a pretty large collection so it needs to be at least as lux as Dior quint quality or I’ll not use it much. I have multiple drawers full of byredo, Pat McGrath, TF and Suqqu that I already rarely use.

I bought the Madore palette and love it. When used with fingers the shimmers look fine, but for some reason all my (clean) brushes give a hard pan look, but so far, they behave perfectly. I love the smoky palette. I was hesitant to purchase it until your review!

I am Asian and have that Rehr eyelash curler. It is nice but pinches. I just bought the Shiseido and it is perfect…never punches and curls my short, stubborn lashes beautifully.
