Picotins are often talked about as an entry-level Hermès bag, meaning they don’t require any extra spending in order to get one. But while other entry level bags, like Garden Party and Herbag, serve no purpose once you start collecting Birkin, Kelly and Constance, Picotin remains a firm favorite in the collections of Hermès lovers. Why? Well, it’s so singularly well-suited to casual, everyday use that even the most avid BKC users will have a Picotin or two in their collections. In short, it’s irreplaceable.
In this video, I’ll share my views on the unique charms of the Picotin and what to look for in size, color and leather when you’re buying one.
