Enfin une défilé Hermès femme qui me plaît (même s’il n’est pas renversant !😉) : 1/ parce qu’il est citadin et dynamique, 2/ parce le cuir est en « Majesté », 3/ parce qu’il met en valeur mes deux icônes « de la Maison du Faubourg » : le sac « plume » et la ceinture « collier ».

The phrase "second chapter" made it clear that the collection unveiled in New York was a continuation of the unveiling of the first chapter of the Hermes' Fall 2024 in Paris, with all the optimism, nonstop energy, free-spirited attitude and unconventional looks. Compared to the neutral and darker color tones of the first chapter, the second chapter collection appeared to be more playful, as evinced by the bright colors such as red, orange and yellow, and as the designers experimented with materials other than the timeless leather. Leather continued to be featured prominently in the second chapter collection. I think leather is a perfect material to convey Hermes' theme for its 2024 collection: the brave urban woman moving bravely through the irrevocably transformed world. Leather has always been a symbol of resilience and power. Mixing in other materials and bright colors takes that theme to the next level: as women navigate through a rapidly changing world, she needs to be not only resilient and determined, but also versatile and adaptable.
