Erica - Hermes treatment of their costumers is questionable.... Sorry but, I think it degrading to treat customers the way they do. Waiting in line to make an appointment, constantly changing the time, making you feel like they are doing you a favor allowing you to buy a bag. Jesus H Christ, you are spending over $12,000 dollars for a purse. The store should be bending over backwards to please you not the other way around. Nice bag, enjoy, personally I would never go through that. Finally, I think their prices are ridiculous!

Yes, Leonard, I really cannot disagree with you because you are absolutely right! Which is why I was questioning whether to go back to my appointment or not. I was tired of all the failed attempts and bad experiences... It is so ironic how things happen, because I was never able to get one when I really wanted it! When I finally let it go, I actually got one. I love my Birkin because it is a true collector bag but I will still spend most of my money in places where I get treated well like Chanel or Dior... Leonard Herrmann I brought a Birkin about 11yrs ago and I couldn’t agree with you more, the customer service was absolutely awful!! The only one thing I would say is I paid €5,000 for it and the GBP was very strong at the time against the euro. So, I’ve hardly used it because at the time it was a lot of money to me but now I should be able to get twice what I paid for it!! A result! I would Never shop in their store again and this was in Amsterdam, so it seems to be universal that they are just plain rude and arrogant which ever of their stores you shop in! Lucille Sage

It was my turning point to buy Birkin after buying my Chanel jumbo for $6,600 including tax USD. few thousand dollars more I could have Hermes. I thought it was kinda like $100k 😂 now I am waiting for my SA for the right color, I got offered I turned it down it was black I like gray or something neutral for my first Birkin.

Love your video girl , and congrats on that gorgeous Birkin . But one bit of advice (from personal experience) you shouldn't keep the plastic on the hardware too long because it could cause the hardware to tarnish / oxidize unevenly and quicker than usual.

I dont know how long I have to wait. Black and Etoupe are the two most common colors where I live and this year the store only got one in gold togo so far. sue sue - hi there! Omg I would loooove to visit Singapore! One of the top places to visit on my list!!!! And yes, I came from Brazil as an immigrant with very little money to try a better life. I went through some tough times! I studied hard and got a scholarship through the Honors program at my University. This covered me for a couple of years and then I got through the last few years with student loans and working odd jobs while going to school while married and with a baby! I managed to graduate as a Chemical Engineer with honors and progressed in my career throughout the years. The key to it all is to never lose sight of your goal!!! On the other hand, I have friends that chose not to declare and they just went through customs with no issues and without getting stopped. If you want to bring the box and all the packaging, it is more of a risk if you get stopped which is why I chose to declare. I wanted to bring every single little thing back!
