Good morning. I’m very disappointed with the Hermes liners after watching your review. For the price, I would expect better quality from Hermes…it’s HERMES after all…they should know and do better. I was really excited for the color range but won’t waste my money as I won’t use them if they are going to smear. Any product that has be touched up constantly through out the day is a pass. Prada palette is really pretty and hope it comes back in stock. It seems to be one of the more popular holiday releases this season. Have a great weekend!

What an absolute shame the Hermes liners are meh. Thank you for taking one for the team here! I’d return them all except the lip pencils that are in hard to find/unique shades. I’d use them like lipsticks! We don’t expect lipstick to last all day, so I’d think of them like that and slap a balm over them if necessary. I’m skipping the Nars for me. I don’t use face palettes. I have to store them in a different drawer than my regular face products and I never think to use them. I think it would make a great gift, though. Now the Prada palette🤩🤩! I love, love, love it. I’m going to grab it when it restocks. I’m going to wrap it up, and it will be my Christmas present from my dog, Polly. She loves to give an extravagant gift! (And if I can’t ever catch it in stock, she can get me Poetry and Profusion . As it happens, I have all the Prada quads but those two. Then I would have all the holiday shades. 🤗) I do think it’s a shame they didn’t do new shades for the holiday.

That's what I'm considering with the lip pencils but I should probably return them. The Prada palette will be a great gift from Polly! I need to get the rest of the Prada palettes, maybe Sadie will give those to me this year. Lol.

Hi Lexi, thanks for including so many products and reviews into this video. The Hermes is very disappointing and I would suggest returning what you can bc the performance simply isn't worth the price tag. The Nars face palette is really beautiful and even prettier in person. The Prada e/s is gorgeous and holiday or any day appropriate imo lol. So disappointing to hear about the Hermes liners, but good to know so we save our money. Nars no longer excites me, they need to do something more to reignite my interest. The Prada eyeshadow palette intrigued me from the moment I saw the pictures though 😍. I ordered right away and need to go pick it up today from Nordstrom. Totally off topic, but I’d never noticed the dragon design on the cabinet/furniture behind you, which reminds me of the Hourglass dragon packaging! 😊

The posh liners are so pretty but they are soo soft and smudgy that my eyes get watery. I was looking forward to these. that first lip color looked great on you! I don’t mind smudgy lips because I wear gloss and don’t like long lasting. The eyes however are a problem.

I knew we could rely on you to compare the Prada shades with the existing ones! I suspected the pink was similar to the one on the green palette and the silver was similar to the yellow palette but only you picked up on it. You’re saving us so much money! May I ask if the Mahogany lipstick is anything like the new Dior holiday 994 Masquerade shade? Also would you say the Dior addict Divine Plum is anything like Lisa Eldridge Metropolis baume or Chantecaille Wisteria lip chic? They seem to have the same vibe? Hi Lexi !! Love Prada lipstick in B101 I already have this shade and it’s such a lovely formula. The pencils are lovely colours but if the formula is not up to scratch then probably best to return the unopened ones . The palette is stunning the rose colour is really pretty on your eyes .❤🤗

Hi Lexi, Thank u for another honest and thorough review. Hermes has knocked it out with their lipsticks and eyeshadows - they did it slowly which was smart. They rushed on these liners. They should have only come out with one or two shades so we could see the formulas. On my opinion, Tim Ford makes the best liquid liner. And it lasts almost one year. I was so looking forward to the Prada eyeshadow but it already sold out at Nordstrom - don’t know if they will restock. Always look forward to your videos. Have a great day! Lisa do!

If a store says they accept "gently used" returns I always return things I don't like. Even if I've tried them and think the quality is just not up to snuff. At these prices these products Should be returned if they aren't absolute magic. So please, get your money back for things you don't love. "Gently used" is permission. If these don't perform, you'll never reach for them. But I really love the Prada eye palette on you. Sadly it seems to be sold out. Hope they bring it back. I wanted to try them, but this is the first color story I know I'd use. Plus the lip colors are very pretty on you. Thanks for the video!💚

Hi Lexi! Thank you for investing in these new releases! I am glad I waited for your review of the Hermes eye and lip liners - how disappointing that these do not live up to the usual Hermes standard. The Nars palette is pretty and practical - nice gift for people who travel or who have to work long hours and need to retouch their makeup on the go. As for the Prada eye palette, I should have purchased it the moment you linked it on your channel because it’s OOS. What the heck? (being polite) it’s only October 5th! At least the Prada eyeshadow quad is consistent. Little disappointed their holiday lipstick collection do not have new shades. I really want to purchase the Prada eyeshadow quad. I purchased a hyper matte lipstick & I absolutely love it! I held off on the eyeshadow. Hi Lexi. Thank you for your great videos. I really love them. I am soooooo disappointed by these extremely expensive lip and eye liners from Hermes. They did a great job as for the colors which are quite nice especially the eye liners. I picked up 2 lip liners and 2 eyeliners to begin with. The lip liners are ok, creamy, beautiful colors especially the Rose Boisé, but they don't set and hence don't last long. As for the eye liners I love the shades I picked up which are Violet Indigo and Bleu Encre especially to use in my water line and they are too stiff and dry and don't glide well in the water line. On the lids they're ok but do not set. For the price and given the fact that it's Hermes I was imaginning much better quality and especially something original and special. And they are not. I'll be using the ones I have and like them but I'm not sure I'll be repurchasing them at all.🥰🥰

I was looking through your videos to find the one where I think you said you liked the VB concealer better than WA. I think you and I share the some issue with WA. Her complexion products are so hard to match and really I had to buy 3 or 4 of the foundation sticks. I’m going to Nordstrom tomorrow let’s see what the WA looks like . Buying 2 VB is like 150 which is just ridiculous. I love VB eye pencils and bronzer but not the blushes or lipstick. I completely agree! The brush tip should be replaced but maybe they are thinking we will just clean it? I don't see how we can clean it thoroughly though. It seems to be a mistaken attempt at sustainability or perhaps they aren't going to be offering refills and this is to prevent leakage during transport?

I think I ordered one eye pencil in blurple that is coming today, but no lip pencils (I didn’t notice any colors I needed to have). I’m waiting for the Prada holiday quad too. I do like some of the colors in the NARS palette, but, overall, there are too many warm/peachy shades for me. It would be great if they let us build our own palettes. That I would buy in an instant. The bronzer and one to two of the blushes would be wasted for me, so it isn’t worth the price tag for me! I have to look at home. if I have an old one for which I only use some of the colors, it might be worth it to get it and make my own. The pans are usually not glued in that tightly.

That cooler toned pink NARS blush does not go with that warm bronzer. Why do these companies (*cough Hourglass) think that fair skin tones need an orangey bronzer? I was hoping for Laguna I or II. Many launches are also comme ci comme ça, but Chantecaille shadows when they come i really want! Or this one? No, i think i let go one of the 3 Chantecaille duo's, although its my favorite brand, but i really want to stop exhausting the planet, think more. And going through my gold/silver shadows to look what i still have. I really want a soft for eyes but smudge proof emerald liner, wow is that hard to get! Hi Lexi love how you give us the real🙌 and definitely save money🙏 I love your Prada eyeshadow look. It does look festive, but j have poetry and No6 one, and I think I can find silver in Chanel last year, or year before, and probably Chantecaille duo,.., it can be used , for this look. Maybe even LE🤔 gold the same, so it’s a pass for me. If anything I better pick up portrait one. But I think that I have those colors too, but it’s definitely more wearable, to me. Love those burgundy lipsticks, but touch of brown, it’s a no for me. Any lipstick with brown tone, it’s just look horrible on me😳. Are the lip liners supposed to set? I personally don't like dry lip liners. But I only use lip liners on the full lips when I like the actual colours. I never line my lips separately 😅I probably would like these.. But not for the price. I used up a super cheap lip liner in the prettiest cool rose pink.. Can't find it any more cause it was a no name brand. Haven't found a similar colour anywhere not even as lipstick

Lexi, don't keep them! There are so many wonderful liners from drugstore, Sephora, Indie brands, and Asian beauty (uzu has so many, Judydoll has lovely thin ones, Givenchy has lovely shades, etc. Freck beauty and Fenty have ones that don't budge) that have different colors and have better formula!

Levy thank you very much for your honest and unbiased review. I'm a big fan of Hermes cosmetics, but the quality of these pencils is terrible. They are very hard, scratch the skin on the eyelid and do not blend at all. This is the worst quality eyeliner pencil I have ever come across. I wonder if Hermes tested their quality when they launched them into mass production? I bought several of these pencils in different shades, but they all go back to the store. Big disappointment!

Hermes is a pas for me as the price point is too mugh given what you are getting, especially in the eye and cheek. The NARS palette is beautiful, I may consider nut just picked up 2 HGso...😅😅

Omg girl send it all back ! That is a rediculas price for them to do that. Yes so many great colors but the wear and packaging presentation isn't worth it. Maybe if enough people actually send them back they will reformulate them to a good formula. I am not about sending makeup back usually but this is extremely disappointing and their is so many liners out there that for the price it should be near perfection. The Prada pallet is so pretty but I wish they didn't put the gold in it and did a more grounding matt toupe type shade or something like that or a different metallic, I'm just not a gold fan but it's pretty. Great reviews as always Lexi ! Mine are going straight back supposed to be here soon.

Return them please 😱 it’s really unacceptable for this price! I have oily eyelids and any Japanese or Korean drugstore eye pencils lasts all day! They’re less than £10! Also hands down the best liquid eyeliner I ever tried is Loveliner (also Japanese) that eyeliner stays put even when my eyes watery and so easily comes off when I want it to come off! I highly recommend to try at least loveliner liquid eyeliners 😍 (from yesstyle) honestly I have no desire to splurge on eyeliners when cheap asian ones are just the best 😊

Thank you! I waited on the Hermes. Glad to save money, but sad on formula and performance. If the formula sucks I wouldn't keep for the color. You'll not wear it.

It's a shame about the Hermes liners as they have such a great shade range. The Nars looks lovely but the bronzer is too warm for me so I'll be skipping.

@@LexiJong yea, too bad. I kept the purple and green eye liners on standby waiting for your review I don't think you should keep the ones you haven't tried yet. Nothing worse than smudgy liners - specially lip liners, defeats the purpose really!

I got one of the blue Hermes eyeliner shades, it’s dry, has no pigment and smudges (blends away into nothing). This is an unacceptable quality especially for this price point or any price point. It went back immediately. Hot garbage!
