'watch the movies' isn't a very good form of persuading someone. the movies left out tons of details, some with big impact on the story and other small details that's absent just bugged me. while the argument that hermione and fred hardly ever interacted is valid, shipping something or even just liking a couple together doesn't necessarily go hand-in-hand. it's about the chemistry, and how well they'd be able to cooperate to ensure a healthy and happy relationship, and i personally think they would go well together in that aspect. saying fred and hermione wouldn't work out well purely because they didn't have a close bond like we saw in ron, hermione and harry as a group is kind of closed-minded, if i'm being honest. and besides, how would we know? the books and movies were in harry's perspective. we were seeing things THROUGH HARRY'S EYES AND HARRY'S EYES ONLY. for all we know fred and hermione could have been best friends behind the scenes.
