Hermitcraft 10: Episode 6 - DATA BASE

In this episode of Hermitcraft Season 10, Mumbo builds a giant Minecraft database to store all of the inventions he is creating in this season of Hermitcraft. This Hermitcraft episode also includes the new Hermitcraft Hermit permit system, and the introduction of the new Hermitcraft shopping district. There's also some trades with Cubfan, Docm77 and Grian. This Minecraft video includes a lot of redstone engineering and inventing.

Unrelated but maybe you can have hopper minecarts run under the danger zone that way you only need to take off your armour and you don't need to deposit your inventory each time.

I love how the different redstone creators interact. Doc builds insane giant farms with gamebreaking mechanics, and Mumbo builds a silly death by Lama contraption, and Doc calls it "the best elevator I've ever seen". It's so wholesome.

fantastic way to put it. that's exactly what he does. zedaph also does that, but funnily enough, it's different in a way i can't explain. both do needlessly complicated stuff for the simplest of things but in very contrasting ways. mumbo rejecting every trade from g despite only wanting the one thing g constantly was willing to trade him vs zedaph moving his items from chest to chest through leaving one space open in his inventory and spitting them out one item at a time until he got to the newer chest. the llamavator vs the jump furnace. overcomplicating things is like enrichment to them.

he's got pretty long arms cause he's 6'+ in length, and even if that doesn't work, he lives with his parents (who help him occasionally with some of his care that he's not able to do, particularly transportation wise afaik), and they could likely get on a ladder if necessary to replace the battery, so tl;dr, Scar is a lot more capable than you might think and has people in his life irl who can help him when he can't

T-flip flops convert a pulse input (like a button) to a toggle input (like a lever). Target blocks are used for the unique property of being a solid block that can redirect redstone lines. And hoppers lock up whenever they receive a redstone signal. I'd be happy to try and answer any other redstone related questions you have.

Mumbo, if you need a way out of the log trade you have a loophole you can exploit. The exact wording of the deal says “Mumbo gives Doc his Jungle and Fark Oak Permit” so technically the Jungle and Dark Oak permit is still yours. Now you just need to make a counterfeit permit to fulfill the exact wording of the contract and you can get your original permit back.

Surely the optimal play is to get rid of the permits you want a lot of stacks of? Like Grian wants a lot of prismarine for his nautical builds, so he wants the permit to sell it? That just means he'll need to gather more prismarine than he needs. It seems like the best thing is to give the permits of things you want to have in bulk to someone else, so they have to collect it for you, for you to then buy off of them. As that saves you having to collect it all. Instead of collecting what you want of it + extra to sell.

It really depends on what the item is. If I can make it from nothing, I'd rather make it. If I have to manually go gather it, then I'd buy it. Prismarine is an AFK farm. Even if it takes you 3 hours to build, that's basically all time you'll even need to dedicate to this. If you need prismarine, you stand by the farm while you eat dinner. If you need more, just leave the game on while you sleep. Building the farm itself is the hard part. The basic resources are generated by your character just being nearby. A tiny bit of crafting is need to create the specific blocks, but could be done with autocrafters. And, restocking a shop will take a few minutes assuming you use shulkers to move the products from the farm to the shop. This applies to other farms like iron, gold, slime, bamboo, cactus, rockets, and a ton more. Making a shop to sell these AFK items isn't really a problem cause I can utilize the time when I have to be away from the computer to get these items, thus leaving my actual playtime to just play. The downside is you have to keep the price fairly cheap or else people will just farm them instead of buying. Alternatively, sand is something they have to manually go dig since they aren't allowed to dupe it on Hermitcraft. Guilded Blackstone you have to find in Bastions. Both of these are really good items to sell because no one wants to do this. That's great cause you can charge way more for them and people are probably willing to pay it. Most would rather build their base instead of spending 3 hours getting these resources. The thing is, do YOU want to spend 3 hours gathering to sell them? And, are you willing to spend 3 more hours every time you run out of stock?
