The Strategic T.V. they don't spawn in the base because it's a monument biome so only guardians spawn like a mushroom biome mobs don't spawn on a mushroom island even without mycelium mobs don't spawn

Tell that to the creeper that blew up his super smelter bud. They spawn. In fact, he has a block swapper lighting system in the main section of the base to prevent them from becoming an issue. But that one section off to the side is a major mob spawner right now because he hasn't lit it up yet.

That would be absolutely amazing if Mojang added underwater plants and coral and stuff... and I don't think it would be too much work, just making it so they don't displace water. They even have things they can use! seaweed could be like tall grass, there could be different types of corals, with one being basically a group of flowerpots at different angles and heights for example, and flowers and stuff.

Pretty much. He has like the biggest base on the server, bigass storage system but he still has cobble stone bridge from the old portal, chests everywhere and items leave to despawn. Right now he should have the whole storage system fully filled if he don't let all items just vanish. It's really frustrating.

Idea for the sea lanterns: maybe if you can thin them out as they get further away and then slowly get them to form snake like tendrils reaching out to the rest of the ocean. It could sort of look like the bright lights are like infecting the rest of the ocean. Every now and again you could increase its size slowly overtaking the whole ocean

Mumbo, for the fairy lights thibg, you should make them more dense the closer it is to the center. Like as you go out, make them more spread out. I thibk that would look kinda cool, like a galaxy with your base in the center, and the little modules around it are planets or something.

To get rid of the mobs you have in one of your diamonds without having to go in there, you could swim underneath the floor, mine out a few blocks, and place lanterns in there. At least enough to keep more mobs from spawning. Then you could go on a trip or something so the guys in there despawn, such as -going to get more sand for the light blue stained glass, -farming quartz for if you want to add those squiggly lines on the outer diamonds that you mentioned a few episodes ago, -afk farming iron, since it's always good to have some more, -getting bone meal and lapis for the glass, -going for shulkers again, if you need them, -borrowing someone's witch farm for redstone to replace what you used to prank iskall, -etc.

I thought of lava too, but there were a few drawbacks. I think there's that layer of water on the top, which would be a pain to work around if you wanted to drop lava from the roof. The water could turn it to obsidian, which would be really annoying, so you'd have to get rid of it, which leads to sponges or walls, and then putting the lava so it covers the entire floor. Once that's done, you would have to clear the lava, which opens up places for spawning again, unless you go up and down placing lights and removing lava, unless you don't mind walking in it a few times to place more lights and remove more lava with each trip, because it's a pretty large room and a fair few mobs would spawn by the time he clears all the lava at the top and goes down to place lights. Also, seeing how things can go horribly wrong, I'd be half-expecting him to be killed by something and have his gear fall in lava... Granted, it would be a lot funnier seeing him stress out trying to fight them rather than have him just replace a few blocks and then do a timelapse of him mining sand or something. That's just me, though, but seeing him make progress on his base would also be good, so if he kills 2 birds with one stone by getting stuff for his base and having the room empty out itself after a few minutes placing blocks, I won't complain.

He should add statues of large sea animals outside his base, and some corals. You can make some pretty nice corals using all the different colored blocks, but I've also found netherwart block and bone block can make pretty good corals. And of course, leaves make excellent seaweed/kelp.

Mumbo, Id love that you made the old 'drone base' crashed into the main island and the ocean, like in 5 pieces, and then build the 5th piece really far away and make a minigame and tell all the hermits to find the 5th 'lost piece of the drone' and make it like 'adventury' stile... Add quests and challenges like the old hermitcraft 3 secret thing. Add like an Idol on a Chest that when your remove it, some trap activates and the hermit has to run for life... the trap and the temple design is all up to your creativity ;).
