Also being super generous with loot boxes he coulda had 10k if he scrounged forsure. And the tree is super grindy can't blame anyone for not completing that in survival😂 screw that

If he had put even half of the diamonds he had mined in his vault he would have made his goal, the only time he showed us his diamond ore stats, it was over 7k ore mined, with ~3 diamonds per ore with Fortune III, he obtained over 21k diamonds this season.

Hey, Iskall. For next season, to avoid burnout, why not choose a “theme” instead of a goal? Goals are static and can’t change, but making a “theme” for the season (such as “Get Rich” or “Modular Base” or something vague) could allow you to change it very easily

I think almost everyone set their sights too high this season and it resulted in early burnout and excess focus on bases that never got satisfactorily finished. I think Keralis and BDubs found a good rhythm with their city/village builds. It's still a "mega base" cumulatively, but they were able to not get as burnt out since they were constantly making different builds with different styles. As opposed to Iskall, spending 80 episodes grinding the same oak leaves and oak logs which can understandably get a little tiring and make you want to take on other projects to vary it up. The mega bases are still hugely impressive, and part of why we love HC, but I think there were a few people this season who just decided to make a giant base (Iskall, Jevin, Impulse, Grian etc) to set themselves the challenge, but then struggled with finishing it properly or figuring out what else they wanted to do with them. I just hope next season hermits enjoy themselves and not feel pressured to build anything too extreme if they don't really feel like it, and that they have a good time

I was waiting a while for this video because I was curious how you would handle this iskall. I think you were very positive and optimistic and proud of your Omega accomplishments, and this was exactly the right way to look at things. Some people will be upset, but you have to dream big to do big things, and often they don't work out exactly like you'd imagine. I think the tree is amazing, especially after VintageBeef stopped by and spruced it up. I'm sorry to hear that you've had a tough year, we definitely all have. 9:53 when you said that I started physically hurting. I'm so sorry. I had a traumatic event in this past winter as well and I'm so so sorry that something happened to you. I understand that you are disappointed because you couldn't finish your Omega Tree, but you're mental health is MUCH more important than your HC base. Traumatic events can take people years, or lifetimes, to heal from. Even though its been a few months since the event, let yourself heal. Don't keep pushing through it because it will only make your health worse in the long run. I've started learning that. If you ignore what happened it's effects will only continue to grow. With that aside, it's been an amazing season and your base is at the top of my list as far as being the most impressive due to the amount of grinding you've had to do. you worked so hard on your base and it is phenomenal. you're a fun and up-beat person to watch and you in particular always make my day. Thank you so much, Iskall. I hope you are getting better. See you next season!

The Omega Tree is my favorite build on the whole hermitcraft server. It inspired me to make my own (much less mega) tree base. I would have added a giant beehive to one of the lower tree branches, then filled it with automated bee boxes for honey collection. That way you have a swarm of bees leave the giant beehive to find the flowers below, then get honey out of the whole process.

Thankyou Iskall. The Omega Tree is certainly in my top 10 hermits bases this season even though it's not finished. Custom trees take a lot more skill to make than people might think because of all the angles you have to place leaves at. Creating a tree of this skill on survival mode is truly amazing. Can't wait for season 8!

This was the first season of Hermitcraft for me, I found Mumbo first and then obviously started watching Iskal, you are awesome, one would even say, OMEGA, I have thoroughly enjoyed your videos, you and Mumbo are my favorites, I hope all is well IRL, wishing you the best 💪🏼 👏🏼 You inspired me to get a server with my friends which made me appreciate your builds so much more! Can't wait for season 8, I'm sure that the builds may not be as big or detailed but probably completed, even if it isn't completed the community will finish the job, I feel like the pressure and wanting to aim so high had damaged a lot of minecrafters, I have experienced this myself, and I am so happy that in the end you made it about the journey, you attempted something truly OMEGA and it still looks AMAZING, you had fun on the journey and I love that we watch you for you, your personality and humor, your accent and catch phrases, you make us all smile and laugh, you bring much joy and are quite deep, very creative and clever. So far I've only seen Cub do it, but there's a few finales I haven't watched yet. OH- if you want to see at least a rough idea of the stats for a few of the other hermits, a couple of months ago Etho, Keralis, Tango, and Bdubs played "Stat Poker" together, and a lot of their different stats were shown/talked about. I don't remember any of the episode numbers, but I'm pretty sure they all had clips from it afterward.
