It’s funny how many adults watch hermitcraft unironically (even famous ones like ludwig apparently). You guys really do minecraft for all ages, no cursing, no loud obnoxious yelling or anything that turns off adult viewers. Just veteran minecraft players enjoying the game and interacting with eachother to make projects or entertain the viewers in whatever schemes they have planned. I can see me watching this content for years and shamelessly putting it on for my future children to enjoy along with me. I just love how the Hermits are always like "why is *area* so laggy?" meanwhile they have realistically 1000 entities between overflowing villagers, released sheep, chest monsters, hoppers, farm spillage, and armor stand displays. The second Dare Stick(TM) is an awesome idea. I think you should do the same thing as with the free wings - dispenser with some random stuff and the Dare Stick(TM) in it. One button press per Hermit so everyone has a chance to get it even if living in a different time zone.

I was actually thinking about the dare stick the other day and how, with so many hermits, it might best to add 1-2 more dare sticks, but make them more themed. In particular, I had the idea to add a "Decent Dare Stick (tm)" and a "Dastardly Dare Stick (tm)". If you have the Decent Dare Stick, your dare has to involve doing something nice for another Hermit(s). For example, "I dare you to help Hermit X with their build for 4 hours" or "Hermit X really need a lot of a certain block, I dare you to help them mine/farm it". There would have to be a stipulation that the dare can't be used to make someone help you, it always has to be different hermit from the darer and daree. For the Dastardly Dare stick, your dare should be... more dastardly. For example, "I dare you to prank Hermit X in a specific way," or similar. Obviously it should be something both fun AND dastardly, and never anything mean. As for how to add them in, I'd say just find 2 hermits who have never been dared, and dare them. Not sure if it would be wise to give Grian the Dastardly Dare Stick, though. :P

I think you should add a second dare stick, and it should just be given to a random participant. A player that is currently being dared cannot be dared independently by the other Dare Stick™ at the same time. But the two current bearers of the two dare sticks could team up to either put an Omega-Dare on one player (who would get both dare sticks next) or to dare two other players, which are currently not in possession of a Dare Stick™, to do a Co-Op-Dare.

Hey Iskall! Really cool episode with the timer - and also interesting to see! I had an idea, maybe you like it: your build palette is basically the same for most parts of the cave. Maybe you can identify the blocks exactly and build a contraption that fills a whole Shulkerbox with those stacks and dispenses it out somewhere connected to an area where you push a button and get a „build palette shower“ of all the blocks you always use! So you would be always ready to go immediately:) Edit: To those saying, it‘s pointless/impractical or tough to do, it‘s just like Ethos system from their shared base with an added shower for funsies 😬 so, no, it’s neither pointless nor particularly tough, it is just an idea that might make a boring chore a little more interesting 🧐

You can add a rule to Hermit Dares where after daring someone, the one with the Darestick TM has to place it on an item frame on the pilar representing the one who was dared until the dare is completed. The person marked cannot receive a dare until they completed the current one.

I understand as content creators that having a separate discord for themselves is completely up to them to share and talk about, but after seeing that screenshot of Xisuma calling out Iskalls villager problem. I want to know how they deal with it. Does Xisuma cull the villagers? or does Isakall deal with them? A major thing about Minecraft server lifespans and communities is how they communicate their problems and solve them and I think seeing this type of response shows a much more cooperative side of Hermicraft and a reason why the have been so popular and long standing.

Take for example Joe's response to Doc's frustration (so to speak) at the "disappearance" of the shulker. He returns it without waiting for Doc to properly response in video, and handles it perfectly well. What makes the whole situation better is Doc's return OF a shulker, so Joe could own a Mimic. Really just an overall wholesome way to handle it.

You should totally add a new darestick. How i see it: You make a kind of gambling game: a dispenser with 8 slots with a stack of tnt and 1 slot with a dare stick (You decide how many). Then, people need to go in the building for the game, and carry 1 diamond block with them. They have to stand in water on a hopper, and hit a button. The dispenser gets fired, and they have a 1/9 chanche to get a dare stick. And ofcourse a 8/9 chanche to get blown up. The diamond blocks in the hopper go to you!

You can replace the door of the villager collector with two trapdoors so that you can replace the block below the door with a rail, this way the rail will always be there

Suggestion on double dare stick: implement it when the original dare stick has come around, i.e. iskall got dared finally? Should there be also secret dare stick that nobody else knows, as a surprise? Great job on the base, you haven't diverted from your original idea that it is a cave base and not a base in a cave.

I love the idea of 'if you want it, come and get it' dare stick, and an addition to the game makes sense, there are a lot of people signed up already, and with timezone issues that could make the game sorta get behind Love how the base is looking!!

Iskall to add a date stick, you should send them on a treasure hunt with clues. The hunt can have fake clues. The first one to successfully finish the hunt wins a second dare stick.

You are such a good builder ! I love your path way ;))) Also, a second dare stick is a great idea, you should do it ! If someone get a double dare, he need to do both, but after this, he got 2 dare stick, so the occasion to dare 2 hermit at the same time hehe (like they need to to something together) To introduce the new dare stick, you can just give it for yourself, or hide it somewhere in your base. First one to find it get it !

You could hide a new Dare Stick™ in the shopping district. Or make it that the person who picks it up at the Hermit Dares area also gets dared back by the first person they use it on.

i think it would be a good idea to add some kind of redstone contraption to the dare area, which would let hermits see who is being dared at the moment so that one hermit won't get two dares at the same time

I like the idea of a 'Dare Stick Hunt-off', where you get all the hermits that are signed up to search for the second stick. You would have loads of sticks all over the place in invs frames that are named things like nope, no, nah and so on with more creative names and basically it's a mad dash to find the right stick and fancify the "Dare Stick's" name so it's clear to the winner. That seems like a fun way to get it, otherwise, time-zones and all, somebody might miss the message, so it's a fairer way for everybody to get a chance at first go at the 2nd stick.

Weekly Dare stick (2) : it's hidden in a chest every week and if a hermit wants to use it they must solve a riddle to its location

An omega-dare stick? A dare stick so powerful that the hermit who holds it has to get a random dare dispensed from a dispenser? (Could be a blaze rod, like the golden stick)

Darestick #2 is an End rod and dares can only be used to benefit other hermits (Same rules about personal gain apply though) A dare could be for person being dared to go to another hermits base and add some terraforming, or mine a resource for a build, or to otherwise make their lives **temporarily** easier by helping out. Think like the Butler Kelp from S7. There should also be a rule that who ever *JUST* had the stick is IMMUNE from being dared by ANYONE for **two cycles**, (this can be per stick if you add another) so that you don't get stuck in loops where one hermit is constantly having to do a dare. This is fairly easy to display at the Dare temple by adding some Color coded banners with a black diagonal line through it. (this could even be used for if hermits need to temporarily bow out of the running because they need to focus on a build or will be otherwise unavailable for a short time.) you can pick the colors, but Yellow for the first stick (troll dares) Light blue for the Second stick (helpful dares) and Red with a White line for "time out." Sorry for the wall of text, Hermit Dares is just such neat idea and the potential is MASSIVE :)
