If I had a nickel for every time Impulse was involved in the integration of a separate prismarine shop into an existing everything shop, I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. (gem in impulse's shop and impulse in the barge with his prismarine)

Hey impulse it is possible to farm terracotta using mud and drip stone. U put mud on top of a block and have dripstone underneath that turns it into clay which you can smelt and turn to terracotta. Bdubs had something like it in his coffee/ mud shop.

This is possible, but _really_ hard to fully automate. You need a (rooted) dirt farm to create the mud, you need a powerful bone meal farm to power that, you need a giant drying rack... and some manual crafting / mining is still required because there's no way to automatically get clay as blocks.

Duuuude the first time was insane, they had multiple layers of spawn platforms just outside the hub and were killing wither skellys nearby waiting for it to spawn, then they boxed it in MANUALLY and laid the track, got it on the track (actually the first one died) and once it came through it didn't want to go in the cart so one of them was acting as a distraction for the ghast (I think it was shooting at him but they made sure the fireballs just went to the sky) while the other got into the ghast's hitbox to nudge it into the cart. I'm pretty certain Jellyfish is actually Jellyfish III, and that 4+ hour stream is my favorite moment from old(er) Hermitcraft

I can't think of a building block I've instantly loved as much as the deepslates. It was an incredible addition. So many different patterns/textures, stair and slab varients, and it just plain looks nice. And it's blackish so it goes with almost anything else! Deepslate tiles specifically are probably my favourite in the whole game

Build-wise, ibuy has to be the coolest shop hermitcraft has ever seen. I think that Sahara was the coolest redstone project (and probably the biggest shop) but Ibuy just looks so awesome

You can smelt clay blocks into terracotta, and I think you can get clay from putting mud blocks over dripstone and maybe by trading with some kind of villager?!

Impulse, maybe u can farm terracotta with the mud technique? Like. Dry it on the dripstone and smelt it. Its a lengthy process but once u get it going it goes a long way. Idk if it's faster than mining it though

Still have to mine the clay blocks to get them from the dripstone to the smelter, and if I remember right mining clay with TNT drops clay balls that you'll have to craft back into blocks. And if you want to farm mud, you'll need a supply of dirt to waterlog. So either you go out and mine dirt, or you buy gravel from piglins, craft coarse dirt, and hoe it. Neither of which is any faster than mining terracotta if you have terracotta to mine.

Even better: a raid farm (which he already has) gives you Hero of the Village. If you have that near a mason villager, they'll throw clay blocks at you, which you can catch with a hopper and filter into a smelter array powered by something like bamboo (or any other easily farmed fuel). Can be made fully AFK-able, and he's already got half of it built with his raid farm 😀

You can infinitely and automatically farm terracotta but it's one of the most technical automatic farms in the game. A moss bone meal farm running into a dirt generator that uses azalea to turn moss into rooted dirt that passes through a water bottle dispensing machine to turn it to mud, then passes the mud over dripstone to dry it into clay, tnt dupers to break the logs of the trees to keep the dirt coming and a wither cage to break the clay, and have it drop into a furnace array powered by a bamboo farm

You could do a Zedaph Achievement themed "A Christmas Carol" by drinking an invisibility potion and wear only the trophy. The gold one would be the ghost of achievements past. You would need a lab coat or something else for the ghost of achievements present, then a silver trophy hat for the ghost of achievements not yet completed. Might be a fun skit.

Terracotta can actually be farmed: 1. Make dirt (either via stone generator and moss conversion, then growing 2x2 spruce; or by crafting via coarse dirt) 2. Splash dirt with water bottle (can be dispensed) to make clay blocks 3. Smelt clay blocks to obtain terracotta

you CAN KIND OF make a terracotta farm, but you need a few things: 1. a mud farm 2. a clay farm 3. a super smelter 4. a silk touch shovel if you put mud on top of a block with pointed dripstone under it the it will eventually turn into clay, the silk touch shovels is so you can dig up the clay and it will be a full block, and smelt the clay and it will become terracotta.

But Impulse, you _can_ farm terracotta. Mud above pointed dripstone causes the water to drip out and leave clay blocks behind. Clay blocks can smelt into terracotta. Mud can be made by hitting coarse dirt, dirt, or rooted dirt with water bottles. Coarse dirt is renewable because you can till coarse dirt into dirt. And two dirt plus two gravel gets four coarse dirt. Gravel can be farmed from piglins Or heck, you could try to automate the whole process using a cobblestone generator, a moss farm, an azalea/rooted dirt farm. I'm sure if anyone can figure out industrial levels of terracotta farming it would be you.

Just starting the vid, but you can definitely farm terracotta, some crafting is involved, dry mud on dripstone then put it on a furnace to get terracotta, you could also automate it with an azalea farm so you don’t have to input dirt… but I guess that’s just not worth it since dirt is cheap to get anyways 🤣

0:41 @impulseSV you CAN farm for terracotta, because clay is renewable in 1.19! You can automate the process of converting moss into rooted dirt, rooted dirt into mud, mud into clay, and then cook clay into terracotta. It won't be easy but it is possible if you're looking for a challenge.

You can farm terracotta now, it's just a long process. You have to take dirt(which we technically have an infinite amount of, it's just also kinda long), use a water bottle on it to make mud, put it on a block that has dripstone under it, and wait for it to turn into clay, and then smelt it into terracotta. I definitely understand if you don't want to do this tho.

It's like Santa's severed head impaled on a light beam. All it needs for the finishing touch is some crimson hanging vine for "blood" maybe a couple of redstone drops below. It's perfectly ghastly!

You can build a farm for terracotta production btw. There is a way to farm rooted dirt from moss when growing Azalea trees. You can then use water bottles to convert that into mud. You can then dry that over drip stone to get clay. And you can then cook all that clay in a super smelter. It would be a big farm where you can get a lot of stuff along the way. Moss, bone meal, Oak wood, rooted dirt, mud, clay, bricks, terracotta. All done out from one original process. I expect it could be quite profitable and fun to make the farms.

you can make a terracotta farm. use drip stone to to convert mud to clay then smelt the clay blocks then you can dye the terra what ever colour you like. I made a mud farm and the under it a dripstone conveyor belt with 3 converting stations that feed into 2 12x12x12 cubes to silk touch and then under the floor of it a minecart feeding into a smelting area which you can then dye and smelt again for glazed terra if you want, that way you also have all the mud block family and clay to sell in your shop to

You probably won't see this, but you can farm terracotta! By turning dirt into mud with water bottles you can use dripstone to turn the mud into clay then use the clay to make terracotta! On the empires server, Jimmy has one that Pix made

You can farm terracotta. Convert dirt to mud, drain water from mud with dripstone to get clay, smelt clay blocks to get terracotta.

For terracotta, you *could* create a mud farm, have another farm to turn the mud into clay and then use the clay to make terracotta. But I don't think that's actually more efficient, lol.
