I think that farm should be far away enough to not interfere. However, a few enderman are getting stuck at the top.

Placing torches, placing blocks ( besides wool and carpet), opening chests, eating/drinking, and talking (except when crouched) will set off the censors that will alert the shriekers. Instead of bringing torches you should use night vision potions.

Ender Ender solution: remove the slab under the minecart so it falls onto the iron bar. The slab is blocking their view so they just idle around ( 30:28 ) lowering the rates.

The new Enderman farm looks GREAT!! FYI - regarding the Ancient cities: skulk sensors can be muffled by putting water on them; and the warden can be distracted by a redstone gadget ImpulseSV put together (2 observers and a piston).

There's no difference in spawn rates between a circle and a square, as the spawn area around a player is a dome. However the circle needs to be precise. It's likely the circle platform was built around the center of the farm and not where the player is. This could create areas on the platform where mobs cannot spawn... or simply the platform circle is too small. The best way to know is to use minihud to make the mob spawning sphere visible from where the player will typically stand and then compare to the platform.

A square platform has more surface area than a round one, that might explain the small reduction in mob rate.

Good idea with the glass. Just note that on maps it shows up opaque and hence you might want to give it some design (like Zedaph has done)

Hi iJevin :) You'll need a lot of wool to cover the Shriekers, so the sensors can't messenge it, when you go aound nearby. Choose an area at the time, and get your loot in that area, before you make it to the next area to make safe with wool etc. It's a lot more easy if you have some night vision potions with you, and it's a good idea to drink the potion while you are safe in your cave base near the Ancient City, so you won't make noises that will wakeup the Warden inside the City. The sensors is harmless if it does no't have Chriekers nearby to alarm. :)

Running on the wool is fine. Placing torches on the wool is not. Opening chests without surrounding them in wool first is also not. You guys were careless with the chests. And the warden's sonic blast has a 15-block radius and isn't stopped by walls. The warden will go away after a few seconds as long as no one bothers him, if he's targeting someone or angry with someone he stays. Multiple wardens can spawn at once within a certain radius of one another, and killing one will allow another to spawn.

Now this is the fun way to loot an ancient city. Using night vision potions, bridging around the entire space with wool, strategically taking out sensors or shriekers to be able to open chests without incident, never spawning the warden once, I admit it's kinda dull. Running around like crazy in the dark with your friends with multiple wardens on the loose is definitely more exciting!

First thought is the pad isn't quite right for the pack spawning (ex: the leaf area on Gnembon's farm) compared to the square pad. Could see if the mangrove roots could do the same as leaf blocks to be closer to the palette than leaves.

Yeah, that was my thought as well. A square pad has more area for endermen to spawn than the circle you created, which would explain the small dip. Still functions right but has less space.

I think some hermits mentioned the voice mod is triggering skulk sensors when you are not crouched. So when speaking you should crouch. You can run on wool without the sensor going off.

They only managed because the Warden had taken so much drowning damage whilst swimming up to the surface when Tango first brought it up (plus any damage from projectiles etc afterwards). A normal, full health, Warden doesn't die from fall damage when falling from Y=320 to Y=-60 and they didn't throw it up very high in Double Life.

I did a lot of reading on the warden and ancient cities. He can’t only hear your but he can smell you, 20 blocks through a wall so just standing still won’t help. What I usually do is break the censors and his spawner with a hoe, works pretty well. But in bedrock I am having a super hard time finding it. :/
