A quick note: One thing you won’t find covered in this recap is each hermit’s individual ways of paying tribute to TinFoilChef - even if that means, in some cases, omitting their only Hermitcraft upload this week. Grieving is a personal and individual process. Even when some hermits have chosen to share with their audience, we don’t want the community to see this as an invitation to scrutinize the way each person outwardly deals with loss. We also don’t want to draw unwanted attention to anyone who chose *not* to record their grief on video; and many of this week’s videos were recorded and edited before the news about TFC arrived. So, when we leave these moments out of the recap, please don’t think we’re turning a blind eye to what the Hermits and the community are going through. Instead, we hope you’ll join us in extending compassion and respect to the Hermits as they choose to remember TFC in the way that best suits them. Thanks, folks.

@Dirty Apple I do agree with most of your statement but I'd like to say on that last part: not everyone grieves. And not everyone grieves the same. It's not rude to mourn, and it isn't rude to not mourn either. Not everyone is going to feel loss the same, or even at all, and that's okay, as long as those who are grieving are given the respect and understanding that is deserved. But, again, Techno's death was treated as a cash grab. The amount of bot comments I've reported saying horrible things is ridiculous.

Seeing the devs immediately run over and get in the elevator was wonderfully hilarious moment. The whole tour was like a content creator touring their community server and I'm glad that we got to share in that a bit.

The best part was when she advertised shulker/chest monster cleanup services and he said that he used to clean Scar's monsters for fun. X is the one hermit who is least in need of cleaning lady services.

Yeah, I thought of that after Doc asked Cub if there was anything else of note to see. They would have loved it. Maybe they'll have a chance to come back on the server and play it when it's ready. Another cool spot would have been xB's area, with the giant Warden up top, and the stuff he's got going on in the cave, but I don't think Doc nor Cub have been there since they hid eggs in his base.

Well, I don't get the impression he's trying to crazy automate the store like they did (admittedly I'm a bit behind on videos) so it'll probably work out how the Barge did a few seasons ago. Just selling everything in a big building is a lot easier to manage than complicated redstone systems

about two months ago i lost my grandmother to cancer. she had beat it once, but it came back more aggressively, and though the doctors told us she had a year left, but it ended up only being a month. thankfully, we (my mom's (her daughter) family, and all her siblings (my aunts and uncles) and their kids (my cousins)) were all able to go see her. my heart goes out to all of you grieving the wonderful hermitcraft grandfather we've lost, and the void that no one will ever be able to replace. i know the pain, and i'm so sorry some of you feel it too

I think in some languages it actually does. But as far as I know, the weird name version comes from all the way back when some of the hermits had a discussion on how to actually say his name. His own answer to that is that there is no correct way to say it and everyone can pretty much just pronounce it however they want. So, some of them decided that Shashwammy was obviously the right way to say Xisuma. And even though that's been years ago, some of them just stuck with that and still say that sometimes.

I think Grian should finish Mumbos vault because it seems like Mumbo has pretty much completely sidelined hermitcraft for his filming career... The problem is is that green has been missing too...

They are not missing though. Grian has just been travelling and is already back on the server, he just needs a bit more time to get back to making videos. Pretty sure he said he wants to have one out next week. And Mumbo had never said that he didn't want to come back to hermitcraft. He just needs some time to do other things for once and he mentioned several times that he wants to come back to hermitcraft and making minecraft videos in september or october, if everything goes well with his travels. That said, it would be fun to see what other hermits would do with his vault while he's gone. They probably won't do that though, to respect his plans, even if it takes him a while to continue with that himself.
