One thing I would like to note, Clank does not actually open more viewing windows. That was a purely Decked Out 1 feature. There is no particular hazard to more Clank aside from getting closer to maximum, but you really don’t want to hit the maximum. The only time where your level Clank matters instead of just the maximum is the levels with wardens, where each level exposes more calibrated skulk sensors, meaning Wardens can aggro from farther away, and at max clank, any noise made will aggro all wardens on the level.

Max Clank allows the revealing of the Evokers on floors 1 and 2
@keithwiechart7744
@keithwiechart7744 8 ай бұрын
@@blumo0n032 yes, it does reveal the Evokers that summon the Vex, but that only happens at max Clank. The feature where walls would come down to give the Ravagers more line of sight was purely a DO1 feature. In the first two levels, the only hazard of Clank is reaching maximum and having Vex chase you, but in 3 and 4, each level of Clank is dangerous, not just the maximum.

The number of Hermits struggling with the mechanisms around the game is enlightening for all with an interest in user experience design. From the entrance having vital things off to the side instead of in front of you (where the thing you do afterwards is) to how the shop works have all caused significant difficulties that just baffled Tango because of course he knows how it all works…

You know, I hadnt considered that. I can understand that it’s hard to focus on UX when you’re planning something on this scale though. Tango seems to come with a dnd mindset too: learn the rules, mess up a few times, but eventually get better that most of it feels natural.

Fully-oxidized copper being beneficial was already known before. (See CubicMetre's big copper oxidizing machine for an example.) It's just that you need a bunch of oxidized copper to make more oxidized copper, but at least cut slabs have the same effect as uncut blocks, so you can save some material.
@whisperinwind87
@whisperinwind87 8 ай бұрын
@@TheRealWormbo somehow I thought it was the other way around, so when ever I oxidized copper I would keep the copper five blocks away from any other copper block, and make sure to remove the oxidized blocks as soon as I could...
@TheRealWormbo
@TheRealWormbo 8 ай бұрын
@@whisperinwind87 It's less oxidized copper that prevents copper from aging along, but if there is no less oxidized copper block around, any block at the same oxidization level slows things down, while having more oxidized copper blocks around is somewhat beneficial. Still, the fastest oxidization happens if no other copper blocks are around at all. If you keep your blocks 5 blocks apart, they have no effect on each other at all.

If you like decked out and you like board games, you might like the board game "Clank!" Not sure if Tango has mentioned it before but the premise is basically the same. You sneak into a dragons lair to search for artifacts, with deeper levels yeilding more valuable loot. As you play you build a bigger and better deck which helps you in your quest Edit: Tango has in fact mentioned before that some of the core mechanics are inspired by Clank!

I’m SO glad you made this, because there was NO way I was going to be watching one hour of Hermitcraft JUST FROM ONE PERSON. I mean, I’m only subbed to 3 of the hermits, but I still don’t think I could watch 2.5 hours of decked out (the .5 was Pearl’s. Her video was only 30 mins long)

Decked Out 2 is probably the first Hermitcraft-related thing that is actually having me watch other hermits! Especially Hypno's runs are very interesting because he decided that he could run hardmode with a few common cards lol

No one but hermits have played it but it still outshines Minecraft Legends. 😂 Minecraft would be nuts not to incorporate a vanilla non game version into future Minecraft. They could strip out 99% of the Redstone except for one compass on the bottom level. Even add some simple new mobs to the game. Or they could just leave the current mobs in there and cut down on number. Everyone could get there easily enough following the compass to a single loadstone in the bottom level. It would be a super easy big update with something worth getting excited about and Tango has already done all the work for them. Well they'd have to pay Pearl and Bdubs and anyone else who helped but still a super easy update. Then just have Decked Out 2 spawn in a single cold biome of people's worlds.

3:40 There are no viewing windows for the ravagers in this version of Decked out. The only results of max Clank are the evokers/vex being released and agro-net becoming active in later levels.

sorta, sorta, both ways. not the same viewing windows like DO1, but with DO2, the evokers certainly gain line-of-site of the player when clank is maxed. i think calling it a viewing window is fair but i get why somebody'd disagree

If there were a redstone machine that could help by oxidizing copper and basically farming it. Oh well, shame it weren't something Xisuma had accces to on the Hermitcraft server (refering to the crossover w/ the Emires)
