ARTISTS : For the new mural : it would be so cool to see like a diagram of tomato parts. Maybe a slice showcasing the geometry of the inside or a study of the leaf shape or plant growth patterns. I think that would be a great one to put next to the mother tomato plant itself and be something a bit different than we already have. PS this is turning out so amazing! I love this project so much and watching the progress of it come together is so fun.

The riptide trident is such a good tool, I almost always have it on my hotbar even in my non flooded bases. It really saves on rockets to just throw down a bucket and use riptide when you’re building something tall.

Watched Solidarity’s stream of playing decked out. As he was leaving Scar Land on his way to his final run, he flew past your perimeter and was blown away. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. As a German speaker Rankhilfe rings more than one bell. I had no idea that the raid Captain has control over the raid. The more you learn with DocM. Using live Slime to make Tomatos is also something that only Doc could come up with. Nothing against Decked Out 2 cause the runs are getting more and more insane. Cubfan is one of the Hermits that has managed to make out alive from level 4.

considering slimes are green by default, you could say other hermits will see the tomatoes as unripened fruits instead in the mother plant so smaller slimes could be useful for harmless decorations running- er, jumping around

One thing I really like about perimeter walls is how you get subtle shadowy streaks under the pipes due to the lighting changes. It almost like a bit of water has run off the pipes or leaked out, and slightly wore down the artwork over time. It's a really nice and natural subtle touch.

for taking off in water, just hold space so you're bobbing on the water and then press space at the peak of the bob. you don't need to time the rocket, if you do that ^ you're just in the water in elytra mode and can rocket whenever :)

Fun fact (which I'm sure Doc already knows but might be news to others here): Elytra hopping can increase your jump height from 1.25 blocks to 1.5 blocks - possibly enough to clear the villager's hitbox! Collision with the villager and minecart may have eliminated that option in this instance, but it is a useful trick to keep in mind for other situations!

The texture and shaping of the plant is amazing. I especially like the detail of the roots breaking out of the pot. I very much appreciate the fact that, even if you had never mentioned that you grew tomatoes, I can look at the way the slimes are arranged and tell that you have. The clusters are a little detail that you have to have seen plants to catch, and it makes the whole project come alive.

I feel like you should make segments of the piping switch on and off in zones because the partially-repaired pump can't handle them all yet. Lore: Also, the green tomatoes (from those who don't have the texture pack) are because only those so blessed can tell when the sacred tomatoes are ripe. Everyone else has to deal with eating the ones that aren't ready yet.

Being able to force Ravagers into certain spots and causing witches to throw regen-potions at them from underneath might help him reduce manual maintenance while the Dungeon isn't running. Hey Doc, an idea for one of the remaining perimeter wall sections could be to install a huge round vault door (or some other type of huge door). I'm sure you can think of a great way to fit it into the lore. Maybe there's an underground lush cavern of unsurpassed beauty, with a single object of power or value at the center. Perhaps the people constructed a shrine around it inside the cavern, and it's considered both a treasure to protect, and a sacred place of pilgrimage.

Doc can you please talk to someone at Minecraft HQ to give us the copper bulb back? Half a redstone tick of delay in one block would’ve just been amazing, but they took it away. Sure it makes redstone more complicated, but that is exactly what attracts people so much to it. The possibility to dive deep into it and create crazy stuff the more you understand about it. And let’s face it… redstone is not beginner friendly in the first place.

That intro reminds me of something that onces happended at work. Once, one of my colleagues was trapped behind a glass door. We have a little stand in front of our doors, which our cards can open the door with. At this door there was a vacuumer right next to the door, and when she went in to the room, the vacuum tipped over such that it was caught between the door and the stand. She was trapped. All the walls in the room was glass, so she could see it, but she was stuck! But then again, it was glass, so i could see her and helped her out!

I think the "Aztec or Incan" special soil you referred to must be terra preta, which was used by Amazonian people and was probably made by slowly burning kitchen middens and large areas of wood to charcoal and allowing that charcoal to leach into the soil. Terra preta made large scale tribal chiefdoms possible in the Amazon, or at least that's a popular school of thinking.

the special soil is aztec, and it's called terra preta! it's made by mixing charcoal and compost materials with common aztec soil, allowing it to accumulate and retain much more nutrients for agriculture than common soil :)
