@@mrblackkai do phantoms explode? no, they just create a nuisance that keeps coming back. a flying "creeper" could introduce a new type of item that would be fairly hard to get, since like creepers, they explode. they could also make the giant caves more threatening, having them drop from the ceiling in adjacent caverns

If you want to hate on a hermit, hate on Welsknight for putting a game with blood and drugs on his channel that he has repeatedly said is family friendly and only putting the bare minimum in hermitcraft content to count as a hermit.
