I see everyone asking "how's that villager mod is coming?" Nobody is asking the important question so I'll ask it. "Hey Tango, how are you doing? Hope things are going good!"
@RimaNari
@RimaNari 5 жыл бұрын
I don't really get why people ask this all the time. It's not as if he needs encouragement to work on it, it's a project that is very important to him. So by asking one just puts pressure on. Especially the comments asking "when is the mod ready?"... as if he would answer to that comment. Putting such comments under any random Tango video is just rude. In fact, I hope Tango doesn't feel because of this pressure obligated to work on the mod above e.g. participating in the Hermitcraft war shenanigans. Would have loved to see him more involved, honestly.

Diamond ore, prismarine (cobble, not brick), and some dead corals could add some pizazz to the bottoms of your water features. Also, a bit of sea grass would be nice in the calmer sections of the water.

Yay Hermitcraft! The base looks great so far :D As for the river, maybe it could do with some cobbly banks or some plants (booshes, perhaps?) or some ferns skirted along the edges? Possibly even some clay in some of the stagnant areas where it looks like the sediment is settling a bit. And then cobble in the areas where the water is running?

I love how you force yourself to build unsymmetrical. Most people would have placed those towers in line without another thought. You displaced them intentionally which make things more interesting - and more difficult. Building on a 45 degree angle isn't easy! You also have a great talent for decorating plain walls, which became very obvious already last season with your amazing base. One thing I'm a little bit disappointed in is that you don't participate much in the "civil war" going on. Sure, you said you worked on your villager mod, but I would rather see you participating in the shenanigans while it lasts. Then again, maybe I'm just not as excited about the villager mod than others, dunno (not that I'm not excited about it, I certainly am).

Finally, a hermitcraft video not about the war. Yeah the weapons are legit, and I give credit and props to yall for making some crazy ingenious traps, but I'm happy to see the base game played for a while. I like the war stuff but it feels like it's been going on forever already. Thanks tango for putting out something else. Side note I don't just mean your channel, I'm referring to the majority of the hermits I like and watch. Take as long as you need to get whatever you're doing in your spare time done too. Dont ever get to the point where you feel like you're rushed because it will show in the content. Love your vids man. Peace.

Put soul sand at the bottom of all the sections where the water drops. This will make it look like a real rapid as it disturbs the water as it flows. Glad you are back.
@IaIaCthulhuFtagn
@IaIaCthulhuFtagn 5 жыл бұрын
Waterfall needs lit from behind maybe through some red glass so it combines with the blue water and looks purple. Put some boulders at the bottom and surround them with gravel and soulsand. The bottom of the river should be stone and gravel in straight aways, with random stones sticking up. Every place it curves should have sand banks on the front side (the side water would be flowing into if the river went straight) and down into the bottom. Maybe transition into course dirt then back to gravel/stone on the protected back side. Sprinkle ore blocks in to taste. The towers look good, though it could use a little more light if you can add it w/o screwing up the look. The area where you built with wood would look more natural with torches instead of end rods, maybe in wall sconces (item frame, tripwire hook, torch), or at regular intervals on the fencing.
@p0ppys
@p0ppys 5 жыл бұрын
The details look amazing, they really help sell the build. One thing I would suggest is adding a second colour to the blue part of the walls, maybe light blue terracotta or maybe some concrete and mix it in with the blue terracotta, maybe that would look good.

Tango, your builds are always so impressive and well done. It's very clear how much thought and energy you put into your work on the Hermitcraft. With that said, it does seem to take a lot out of you. The scale of your projects seems to be suited more for a team. I would actually like to see what you would be capable of if you had zedaph and impulse team up with you next season to build an insane base.

I'm loving the wall! I think the asymmetrical aspect is really elegant. The little diagonal section is my favorite. I also love the way that the sandstone shifts the look/feel of the upper level. I was really curious about how you were going to work the cave/river from False's area, and I think the waterfall is a pretty good size. You could also consider asking either False or Stress for riverbank/waterfall help. Stress did a fantastic job on the river banks for the Moba Lisa II (RIP), and she also did a great little waterfall for Ren's elven city. I see that the rage diamonds have been multiplying, and are doing their job effectively, lol

Hey, Tango!!! I love your videos, dude. Well... In order to decorate the lake and river I'd suggest you to go crazy on 1.13 stuff, then you remove the excess, as if you were trimming the bed of both, anf of course, get it lit up with pickles, lanterns, glowstone, even light under leaf blocks... Some rocks spread here and there on the bank of the river will also look cool. Then, get all the diorite and send it to Iskall.

You should add bandits to the villager mod that come sometimes at night, and might break into the community storage. If anothet villager sees him he will tell the gaurd and he will be put in prison. You could also add prison gaurds that will rehabilitate the bandits and eventually you could assign them a new proffesion.
