Reminds me when I had to weigh in when I was in the Corps. Being big boned, and back then they based your weight on height, I was screwed as a short little shit. So I would eat pasta for energy, and exlax to get rid of excess, just to make my goal! :-)

Congratulations on the weight loss. I have lost 10 lbs on the "no pizza for lunch every day" diet so far. I seem to have stalled out. Think I will move my scale to the south corner to my home. That or I need to up my exercising or add no ice cream after 9pm to my diet :-)

Do you feel like you have way more power on 400 after riding the 250 only for a while? I'm looking to buy one or the other soon.

Yes the bikes actually feel completely different. XR250 feels like a favorite pair of boots. It's easy, comfortable and does what you ask. The XR400 is more fun, but not as casual if you just want to putt around. You have to show it more respect, but it will climb up a tree if that's what you want.

Also, I take it the person you had sign the duplicate title was the previous owner who had registered for the street and not the person you bought it from. Is that correct?

Yes. That's correct. He owned the bike 10 years ago and was the last person to register it with the state.

Yeah? Huh. I wonder what that could be. It pulls better than any of my other bikes, and the new carb seems more powerful than the stock, but it doesn't sound as cool as my XR250 either. Maybe I need to poke more holes in the exhaust.

have you checked the top of your air box the hole from stock was too small and the bikes couldn't breathe very well if you make the hole wider the bike should go alot better
