Something cool that i never see utilized vs widow mine drops is putting the probe into the assimilator as its shooting to dodge the widow mine shot. :D

You generally have bigger issues to deal with, so yeah definitely not utilised enough, but it also doesn't surprise me. Personally where I see it most is when you pull all your probes, but obviously one probe is left behind in your gas, so that probe occasionally dodges the shot.

Cool guide, really enjoyed it! What's the story vs like a 1base tank+lib push with this build? Seems like we don't reliably confirm it until our obs gets across at ~4:30, and by that time it's probably too late to prevent it from sieging up right in front of our nat, and with half our production right at the front, we're pretty sad. How about opening adept to reliably get that scout and then in case of no cc by ~350, going ~4gate in the main + immortal instead of prism+gasses?

You're right about having the gates in the wall, and I identify this as a big reason why hero does high ground 2nd pylon, and builds gates there. It is a trade off vs hellions. Still I think it is fine. It has the set up to defend. Your robo won't get depowered so you'll have access to immortals and a warp prism. My biggest point is you actually know it is coming before your obs arrives at their base. You should send it down the ground attack path and so you'll see it coming earlier and can prepare. If you know it is coming, you would just produce units continuously from 3 gates + robo.

great video. I've been doing SG and batteries vs 2 gas , but with robo and prism it allows to counter attack a bit which is nice. Also SG may die to some cyclone tank pushes and with robo I guess it will do better

Yeah that is generally how I see it. SG is great if you don't lose straight up
