As he sees a bank robbery in process up from bird's view, his moral compass urges him to stop the heinous crime with his astounding abilities. He energetically pacifies each robber, one by one, stopping the crime. Even an armed felon is unable to stop the hero, maestro of his body. As he leaves, two cops arrive at the crime scene, hinting at the protagonist's unclear reputation, with one cop being enthusiastic about the vigilante's act, and his grumpy partner not so. As he flies by an air balloon, he drops on it a bag of cash he stole while stopping the robbers on, presenting his antiheroic tendencies - nobody is perfect in this world, even superheroes. He then saves a man in a car who is about to fall from a cliff and a little girl's cat that climbed too high up a tree. As he was rejoicing at his acts of heroism, he felt a pulse in the ground; city dam was about to break. The protagonist rushes to the dike and stands on it, all the townsfolk looking at him from below, holding their breaths, the hero being their last hope. Focusing all his inner might, the red-suited savior dumps on the dam, saving the city. He poses flamboyantly, showing his ego off. But the crowd is not so cheerful: as the man looks down on those he saved, he sees furious faces, all stained in brown. Hitting his lowest point, getting all the world's cuffs, he leaves reluctantly, seeing the grumpy cop cleaning the doodiemess; the man in the car shouting at him through the windshield painted with heroic material; the perplexed girl and her dirted cat. As he sluggishly lands on the before-mentioned air ballon, he drops the stolen bag of cash, disappointed in himself. This symbolizes him losing his self-worth yet again. The shot consciously mirrors the first scene, completing the puzzle: Doodieman helps people, but they have to pay with bearing his filth. He is unable to save everyone purely; for his power is a deficient blessing, a curse he desperately tries to use for good. But he can't satisfy everyone. He's insecure and lonely inside, detached from the world, floating in the skies. His superhero bravado is but a persona - a means to sublimate his imperfections. But his doing are not mere stagings; he is an altruist at heart. And when people put aside their intolerance, they cry for help; for Doodieman. And when he lets his melancholy go, he can go save people yet again. It is excrutiating, yet at the same time cathartic. This is his burden - the hero's load.
