Bless him. Another priest I've heard about was from WW2 Saint Maximilian Kolbe. Definitely worth a few minutes to look up this hero's story. Would not doubt at all if there Father is canonized.

I wish there were more documentaries on the Korean war because my grandfather was in the war, my grandfather never talked about his war stories he had PTSD but many of surviving Korean war vets can talk about what they went through during their time in korea. My grandfather was in the navy he was a gunner on the USS Lake Champlain.

He should be, because he helped save so many lives with big and small gestures of humanity, that can not ever be repaid. I'm sure there's a lot of books out there, but 1 I know of that talks about how much he helped the POW's is call "Valleys of death" by Bill Richardson, it's a must read, and it explains how much of an impact that he made in his fellow soldiers ' lives. God bless his soul, and thanks to him and his sacrifice he showed what a real Warrior looks like, and what a Warrior of God & faith he was!!!
