I literally had that as an emote back when i played my pally! Best bubble hearth moment ever was a failed raid on Undercity, we took way to long to get Sylvanus. We'd killed the other 3 leaders at the time, so the horde knew where we were going. I was LITERALLY the last person in the raid alive, had the entire horde server looking at me as I cast that spell. Best part was I got if off! Good times

As someone who hasn't played WoW, and doesn't really care how prominent characters are in past lore, this character looks really fun to play! She has basic strategy with all of her abilities. When to charge and who to target, and her style of play seems so satisfying. Charging up a big ol' hammer attack sounds awesome. (not to mention that jump attack) Good job blizzard! May have to pick the game up again.

Paladin's in WoW have Divine Shield that makes you invincible for a time. It used to be the case (might still be? Haven't played WoW in ages) that while invincible you could use your hearthstone to teleport back home and avoid certain death, mostly in PvP.

Just throwing in my two cents after having played her. She has immediately jumped up to my favorite tank position, by a mile. I can stick to enemies, force them off points. While not doing a large amount of damage, with proper talent tree selection, she can be nearly impossible to take down. I was in team fights, multiple times, and escaped some engagements that I had no right escaping. She's great, and I hope you guys continue with releases that feel this cohesive. Good job.

Why not give us Turalyon/Tirion/Alexandros Mograine in the way we have Muradin/Magni. Make one of them the hero and the others a skin and have them be an actual Retribution paladin, one that actually kills enemies. Yrel is very unique mechanic wise, but when it comes to flavor, she is pretty similar to the Crusader that we already have. A holy warrior tank. I want some Retribution. Someone that embodies the "Demons run when a good man goes to war." idea.

nah. She seems more vulnerable to CC like silences and stuns while she has stun and slow herself + some escape. But I doubt it would be enough to powderise that annoying dashing garbage.

Not really - the slower speed will only hinder you in extreme cases (eg. trying to catch someone like Tracer), yet it's not like her kit is precision-based so she'll do better than some warriors who rely more on skillshots than target abilities or AoE. Such abilities (in TF) are much easier to land. She also has at least one escape option/chase so she's not the worst off. Overall she's a relatively sturdy distruptor with some light support for the team. Ironically, much like bubble-hearth, she's the type of hero you'd pick when you want more disengage than engage. Imagine getting that juicy dive on an out-of-position target only for Yrel to pimp-slap you and ruin the moment and/or throw out AoE healing when the chaos erupts. I'd say she'll be fun to play (in a basic sort of way) but likely won't be hitting the top-tier of warriors any time soon due to the niche/style.

Who's OP? If you go by tier lists and the voice of the crowd, then sure. If you go by win rates and tournament stats, then specialists are a bigger problem and mobile heroes are just decent. At worst they have a high skill ceiling that makes them a strong and solid pick for competent co-ordinated play, but for the average complainer it doesn't amount to squat. In fact, they're often bad for poor players, because their mobility means you absolutely have to take advantage of it and position aggressively to make up for their usual lack of wave clear, mercing, self healing, low health pool, lack of poke, or any number of other weaknesses. You're not complaining about Sylvanas' mobility or ETC's. It's the Overwatch heroes, and the complaints are probably more BECAUSE they are Overwatch heroes than because of anything they actually add to the team.

Funny isn't it. The Iron horde butchers, enslaves, tortures and sacrifices draenei. 30 years later the draenei trash their ugly mug and everyone is losing their cool because they do it for a religious reason. If they wouldn't charge into battle with a 'for the light' and with a 'vengance for the thousands of innocents that you've butchered' ... nobody would give a f-ck abotu it.

People hate it because it's just another generic Blizzard corruption "the whispers told me to do it!" story. The only difference is this time it's light whispers instead of old god whispers, but that doesn't make it any better. Corruption stories are still garbage.

@Femi The magar orc recruitment happens 30 years after the end of WoD. (that's also the reason why you get to see grommash as an old grey haired orc in that scenario). That is why we know what Yrel is doing there. The Iron Horde did everything I've listed prior and during WoD in the alternative universe.

Not really, Lune. Uther is Holy. Yrel is more defensive, so she's protection. I am sure that one day, we'll get Tirion as a retribution paladin. We just have to be a bit patient. Be in it for the long run. Also, take into consideration the fact that Yrel is a vindicator, not a classic paladin. That's why she wields a two hander, but she plays defensively.
