I live in albuquerque New Mexico, I am a college student living in the dorms. & some of the areas around downtown are in need of help. Families are somewhat poor. I work at Lowell elementary school not too far from the elementary school Sonya works and they are similar when it comes to kids in need of supplies and comfort. I found this video very motivating and uplifting. Thank you Sonya, and a special thanks to Ellen who is a hero as well for helping out areas in need. (:

I agree, but they don't always have to be elementary school teachers, my middle school teacher is honestly amazing, she absolutely loves her job and cares about her students not only the money, but one of my elementary school teachers was really mean and she would always yell at us and say that we are the worst class she's ever had in her 13 years of teaching.

Much better than my kid's teacher. On a day when all kids came in with money to buy books, one child from a troubled family did not have a dime. She wanted a book on puppies which cost $7.00. I reached into my pocket to buy the book but I was stopped by the witch of a teacher and told that the faculty had decided no parents or students could buy books for anyone else. Two weeks later that child was pulled out of the school because of problems at home. Bitch.
