It's time to clear the Great Storm again in Hero Wars. As a demonstrate in this video, you actually don't need to spend many emeralds on this event at all to complete it and get most of the rewards.

Managed to do it today for the first time, finish the Storm Event, with 2k emeralds exactly spent. :) Axel is now purple, Mara is Blue+2 (4.4k chaos particles from purple), and after than Oliver and Cain. Maybe Khorus and Albus after that.

interesting that you killed exactly 45 nodes for the extra 2000 storm coins. I would have called it inefficient if you go over or under that by a bit lol. Personally i like finishing at 35-40 nodes though, which removes the need of buying action point altogether. Although it pretty much requires dorian to sustain the team under low storm resistance.

Yeah, also storm resistance doesn't just cause you damage, it also causes enemies to take less damage, so I've kind of seen 220 as being the "sweet spot" for maximum benefit and completing the event on a tight budget.
