Hero Wars Heidi Event: NO BUFF Best Team for level 190 boss Root of Evil of the current King of the Jungle event. Be careful though if you try this as the account shown uses a maximum Tree of Wisdom! Its best to wait a day or two and see whether or not the developers change the costs of starting a boss battle.
UPDATE:
Some buff levels might be "too high". What I mean is that with some buff levels Rufus might not be revived because the final hit will be a physical attack most of the time as compared to other buff levels where the final hit will be Celeste's magic attack which will revive Rufus.
I just uploaded the proof that the Tree of Wisdom does NOT MATTER. I hope to have a discussion in the comments there about solutions to these issues:

I finally managed to beat this level using the heroes Chabba (w/Oliver) Jhu (w/Fenris) Heidi (w/Albus) Thea (w/Mara) and Martha (w/Axel) without any buffs. Also Axel was chosen in the pet slot for battle. Fought manually.

Me too, Chabba was dead emediately ... no preventing Auroa from doing anything. I think it's sometimes very much dependend if the recommended combo of heros get lucky or not ...

I don't think there's been any official announcement on this. But from the comments on this and past events, it seems to be the case. I haven't done a rigorous test with two accounts with different Tree of Wisdom side by side though.

This one might be shaping up to be the worst of these types of events. You lose resources even on a loss, and it's highly dependent on the tree of wisdom... it's like Nexters is trying to make it impossible to progress in these events without spending money.

Thats kinda the intention of the game sadly. Allow people to play for free but give them a lousy gaming expereince if they dont spend money. Hold back your guild, not finish events, not get all the rewards from spending events. Its part of the business model.

you don't lose the buffs on a loss, only a win. you only lose the chrometal you spent to fight on a loss.
